Personality

Ayra is a product of the Warsong Clan, meaning that she has grown up around violent conflict and stories of the clan's glorious battles. As a result, she is proud and surly, and very hostile towards the Alliance races as well as Blood Elves. She says little, but her mannerisms and posture speak volumes about her feelings at any given moment.

History

Ayra was born shortly after the Warsong retreated into the wilds of Lordaeron. She grew up experiencing life on the run, learning early the lessons of survival of the fittest. She didn't play games, preferring to listen to the tales of battle from before the Orcs came to Azeroth and before the destruction of the Dark Portal. She also watched the training of the older Orcs, mimmicking their movements from the sidelines until she was old enough to carry an axe herself.

By the time Orgrim Doomhammer and the Frostwolf Clan met up with the Warsong, Ayra was a respectable combatant. Despite her diminutive size, her lust for battle and quick striking were an asset, many likening her to a serpent. She fought ferociously and gained many scars when the Orcs began raiding the internment camps, in-between observing the Shaman that populated the Frostwolf Clan. She saw them as tapping into the volatile nature of the elements, and desired to learn how to use them to become an even stronger warrior. While the Orcs journeyed across the sea, she took advantage of the presence of some of the elder Shaman to ask questions and learn from them.

It was during the battles when the Orcs helped liberate the Darkspear Trolls that the winds first whispered to Ayra. They gave her the speed to quickly incapactate foes, moving with speed and grace to compliment her ferocity. As the Orcs escaped, Ayra came to understand the balance between Shaman and nature, and continued to study until she reached Kalimdor. In Ashenvale, she participated in the conflicts between the Warsong and the Night Elves, utilizing her newfound abilities to defend her brethren. She became even more ferocious when the Warsong fell under the control of Mannoroth, tattooing two red serpents on her arms in homage to the way she fought.

Even after Mannoroth was defeated, she still retains some of that ferocity, as she does not want to fall into the lethargy that many of her fellow Orcs had during the internment period. She has become nomadic, seeing the endless conflict in Ashenvale as useless, waiting for the winds to whisper to her a bigger, better plan.
