Personality

She is a very dominant type of woman. She talks down to everyone as if she is better then them, and absolutely despises being talked down to. She is a power hungry bitch who will go to any lengths to get it.

History

Astarsis was born into a very well off family. Her parents were very prominent mages who expected her to follow in their foot steps, and that is what she did. She spent most of her early life studying arcane magic as her parents did. She did fairly well in her studies as her parents gave her the best that they could in tutors and classes. She wasn't a very social person as she spent most of her time trying to studying and trying to learn more and more about arcane magic. When the Horde came to destroy Quel'Thalas they tried to put up a fight but there magic wasn't enough to stop them.

When the battle was over she returned home she found nothing but a destroyed building. She had no idea what happened to her parents as their bodies were never found. She wandered for a few years in isolation before she finally settled on what she had to do. She needed more power and she knew that the Arcane magic she had been learning would never be enough. She looked for new ways to gain power eventually finding a few books on the subject of shadow magic and demonology.

She didn't read them much at first but as she thought about the destruction of Quel'Thalas she knew that she had to gain more power. She spent years in Isolation studying magic trying to teach herself to use Shadow Magic. Her studies became an obsession as she began to slowly learn from the dark books. Even the second war against the orcs couldn't drag her out of obsession as she remained in self-exile learning and waiting. That is where she remained up until the Third war when Arthas came and destroyed Silvermoon.

After years of solitude and studying she finally decided to come and help in the defense effort at Silvermoon because she knew she couldn't let the undead get near the Sunwell. She fought as best she could using both her arcane skills and her newly acquired shadow magic. As many others found out during the third war how unprepared they were for the undead horde. The undead ravaged there lands and destroyed the Sunwell. With the destruction of the Sunwell, Astaris felt cut off from her Arcane magic but to her surprise she still had control of her shadow magic. That is when she decided to give herself fully to the shadow and become a master of shadow. She returned to her life of solitude and started her training to become a skilled warlock. That is where she remained until recently.
