Appearance

Askurei is typically never going to wear something on his head more than a hat, and is usually wearing a suit of red and black leather. Typically he is carrying a poisoned knife and a longsword at his side as well.

Personality

Typically Askurei is a calm, if comedic, rogue who likes to make appearances from Nowhere. This kind of guy will steal just about anything from you he can get his hands on unless you strike him as dangerous or a friend. He has been known to avoid anything he doesn't think he can get out of, and is likely to flee if he thinks he could die, unless there is something to keep him there. He is always willing to laugh, or make someone laugh, even in the most dire situations. This has led people to think he's nothing more than a joker, and a novice with the blades. They are wrong. His proficiency in blades is nothing to laugh at, nor is his ability in stealth.

History

Askurei was raised on his own on the streets of Stormwind, hiding, stealing, doing what he could to survive. When things got messy, he ran. When he saw an opportunity, he took it. This went on for most of his life, building him a sorry reputation with the guards. Fortunately, he was lucky enough for them to only know him by his face, not his name. Then, he met Daresh, who supported him through the remainder of his life while he grew into the cunning rogue he is now.

Now, with Daresh's recent death, Askurei is overcome by guilt that he couldn't have saved him. He won't show it, and often acts as if nothing is wrong and hides it with sarcastic comments, but Askurei is hurting behind the calm comedic exterior. He tries to forget what he can, but it is hard to forget when you were there to witness the event. He currently spends most of his time in Elwynn forest, sneaking around Stormwind, or up north with the Dwarves. Having been raised as a street rat in Stormwind, he knows where to find generally everything in the city, except for new constructions. And this has also given him a rather good mental map of the outlying forest, giving him an advantage in this area. Askurei has no problems looting a corpse for anything it might have on it, and then selling it. This is how he makes the majority of his money: theft, and looting.
