Personality

Alignment: Neutral, sinister.

Armond is the kind of undead you'd never see in heavy battle, but rather observes from a short distance. He prefers to come with ideas that only benefit him and the ones who he cares about. He distrusts people quite fast, and sees the ever-alert creature as a superior one. His rituals are based on the Torment of the Body and therefore he worships Pain, Agony, Physical Failure, Deceases and Blood. These rituals feed the power of his dark magic. He has an English-like accent with a deep voice that speaks true. He always acts neutral but never intents harm to the innocent ones, they just have to leave him alone.

Skills and Abilities

Armond is a Chaos Priest. His magical power draws from small rituals that need sacrifice. If he were to increase his stamina (Power Word: Fortitude) He sacrifices blood, in order to increase his strength. If he were to corrupt an enemy’s mind (Mind Blast), he alters the reality of the brain, causing the enemy to flee in agony (Fear) or to writhe in pain (Shadow Word: Pain).

All these little rituals, mind bending and corrupting can be best described as Chaos; The might of all that mortals fear.

History

When Armond was still alive, he was raised by two caring, religious parents. They both served at the Cathedral where they helped collecting- and order the books voluntarily to show the cathedral and its gods their respect. Aside from that, his father was a farmer in Westfall.

The days grew longer as Armond got older. He helped his father with plowing, helping with the cattle and sometimes he rode for his father to pick up supplies for the crops. But the days grew dryer. With every passing year, their crops had more trouble to grow as the soil underneath it slowly died. After a while, their food supply thinned and they received word that Westfall was under attack by the Orcs. They had only one chance; to leave their home behind, and find a place to flee to.

Their new home was located in Tiristfall Glades. The grass was green and the soil was good. Amond reached the age of 26 when they heard the news of Arthas' return. His parents were thrilled. From the little coin they made, they purchased cloths so his mother could make fancy clothes. His father collected the best samples of his crop so they could make dinner for their friends during the celebration. Armond was glad their parents gave him a task before the festivities. He had to ride to Elwynn Forest to pick up a few kegs and baskets of fruit. He cared more for the little people to be interested in royal business. He figured that if he took a longer road, he could stall and then miss the arrival, but be back soon enough to avoid his mother's wrath.

They gathered friends and family, and they set up tables and food for the feast. After a few hours of partying, they noticed a tremble in the air. Like a cold wind scared the mood away. The bell rang, but the cheers were gone. The party fell silent, as greedy ears tried to pick up any sound aside the bells in Lordaeron. Suddenly few people got spooked. They heard screams and the wailing of several women. Some men offered to go out and observe what was going on, but they never returned. Few people fled from the scene, others slowly backed towards the house. Armond's father fled into the house, dragging his mother with him. The remaining people, as well, fled. The father locked the door, all they could hear was sword-clatter and screams...

Armond had almost returned from his trip. As he rode across the river separating Elwynn Forest and Westfall, he saw smoke-plumes slowly crawling upwards. He halted the horse, and kept staring at the trees but nothing of interest caught his eyes, until he heard a slight buzzing noise, followed by a heavy sting in his neck. He fell off his wagon and landed on his head. Dazed by the attack, he crawled towards the river trying to hide in the water. Instead, another buzzing noise shifted through the air, making impact on the hilt of his foot. As the arrow-head grinded his bone, he did not manage to scream, because his energy was drained from the amount of blood he lost. He crawled in agony because he knew he was going to die. When he made it in the water, his body was dragged across the river stream, where he hit a large rock under a bridge that prevented him from moving any further. At this point, he lost so much blood that the last thing he did was trying to remain on the rock as long as possible, so that his killers could not find his body; it had to return to his parents in decent shape for a proper burial.

When he woke up, a caravan of mutilated, walking corpses slowly marched towards Lordaeron. Armond kept steady. His body felt weird, but he managed to remain motionless, observing the marching undead above him, hoping they wouldn't find him. He tried to turn his body to simply await his easy escape. He turned his head and noticed another undead peering at him, motionless. It was then he met Mordo. Mordo introduced him to the Forsaken. Armond did not die with the arrow or the blood loss.. He died when he heard Mordo tell him the story about the fall of Lordaeron, about the corruption of Tiristfall Glades, and when he finally arrived at the farm, his parents stood in between the rubble as what was his first example of the Scourge. What had to be done, had to be done. He cracked the arrow in his neck and killed what was left of his parents.

Out of respect of his parents, he swore revenge in a way he could both honor them, ánd understand his new enemy. By learning the way of the Priest. He spent his whole Forsaken existence, until this day, to advance in progress. But learning the ropes without the gods he used to worship, was hard. He managed to explore his mind, freeing his mind from his decayed, rotten body. He found a way to nourish his magic by committing dark rituals to sustain his unholy power. He wants to prevent himself from falling for war-tactics again, so he observed several battles, he researches the many twists and turns of the logic and non-logic, and after several years of progress, he created a new way to enter someone's brain through mind control or visualization, where he can manipulate the brain in seeing things that are not there, but it costs a lot of focus, and he only reaches that state of mind at random.

Armond considers himself dead. An empty casket filled with cracks of what's left of a previous life. Because of this point of view, he no longer cares about his age and abandoned everything that could make people assume he's still alive, scared to suffer the same fate as his parents. To become a mindless drone. He now roams the ranks of the Forsaken as a dark, ritualistic and wretched being who's aiming for the final goal of revenge to any who caused his parents and him harm by any means necessary.
