Personality

A supporter of the Alliance, Arial puts her ‘duty' of helping her kingdom in front of most priorities. In the past, this means she has left other aspects of her life with little attention at all. This comes from the means by which her parents had raised her long ago; both of them served the kingdom in the First War and through Stormwind's fall. From them, Arial has become the “highly devout” person she is today as she continues to serve the kingdom after its reconstruction.

History

Arial's parents both fought side-by-side in the conflict that was the First War. They had built their relationship before then and now fought, along with many other humans, to protect the kingdom from the Orcish Horde. The fighting quickly began to favour the Horde and, when it did, the survivors of the kingdom were forced to flee from their homes and migrated to the North, leaving the Horde in the South. Arial was born some time after her two parents, both surviving the conflict, relocated to Lordaeron. Her parents did not serve in the Second War because they had tried to settle down.

Her parents settled down and used the wage to purchase a meager amount of land and became farmers in the forests of the North near Lordaeron. Arial's childhood consisted of usual matters that came along with farm-life. As a child, she readily learned how to fend for herself and support her parents through many tough times. As she grew older into her childhood, her parents began to train her with a blade and using armour much like they were taught in the armies of Stormwind. However, her parents did not truly prepare her to become a warrior on her own.

As time went on, she soon grew to fairly average skills with bladed weapons for her age. She learned more so from teaching her younger brother once he was born. Her skills were finally put to the test when a small bandit group chose to raid the farm. Accompanied by her father and mother, the three of them tried to repel the bandit invasion that day. They eventually succeeded, but the battle took its toll on Arial. There was a moment in the battle when a bandit had his blade inches away from her eyes, and after that moment, Arial changed in the way she acted. She was no longer concerned with much else besides bettering her skills to try her best to prevent such a close near-death experience from ever happening again. Thus, she soon enlisted in the armies of Lordaeron.

As a foot soldier in the army of Lordaeron, and the Alliance, Arial soon sported a newfound patriotism for the nations and kingdoms bound by it. As her training continued, she became more and more eager to better her skills if it meant being able to more properly serve the army itself. It's during this training that she eventually learned much of the skills she knows today that have comprised her competence in combat. It was revealed to her sometime soon that her family's farm had been destroyed by bandits during the weakening of the Alliance. With this news taken to heart, Arial made the logical reasoning that her family had perished and soon resigned from the army to pursue her career in the rebuilding kingdom in the South.

To her, serving Stormwind as it was being rebuilt would be close to seeing it as how her parents has described it in stories they had told her in the past. She was eager to serve the very same Kingdom that her parents had served for long ago and thus, enlisted into service as a guard. Through her service, she has patrolled only a fraction of the lands owned by the expanding kingdom. She continues to serve her today.
