Personality

Anzi is a very typical nature loving druid. She cares about the plants and animals (But more-so plants) in the world around her more than anything else. Among those of her own race she is instantly very friendly and talkative, but among those of other races she will be very quiet. This is due to both her general distrust of the other races, and that fact that she barely knows their languages. However if one of another race proves themselves worthy by showing a trait that she holds in great value (such as love of nature, honor, or general kindness) she will treat them equally and speak freely to them. She has never been good with names and will often forget them after their first meeting. Normally she just calls people by what she sees them as, such as "little gnome", "earth-dweller", or "human girl".

For the most part she rarely goes into any sort of city or town, preferring to stay in the forests of moonglade, but she has grown a little more accustomed to the them of late. She spends any time inside cities socializing in various inns at night or taverns or sleeping under park benches in the day. She has been woken up in bad temper on more than one occasion and on just as many occasions roughly escorted to the local authorities.

She has a very strong maternal instinct toward anyone in need of physical or spiritual healing and will spend more than enough time bringing them back on their feet, even if she has no idea who they are. Many times has she spent hours tending to the simple injuries of a local town drunkard who, unbeknownst to Anzi, would simply go out, get drunk, and end up getting hurt in the same way again. Nevertheless she will end up healing the same person again. (Partly because she'd forgotten who they are.)

She has very rarely been in battle situations, preferring to stay on the sidelines and use her abilities to heal her elven comrades, but on the few times she is she will fight swiftly and tactfully. She can be very quick-witted and cunning when it comes to tight situations and during these times she always keeps a very beneficial, but sometimes foolish, amount of self-confidence. She always thinks she is in control of her enemies, and often she underestimates their strength of strength of mind.

History

Anzi was born in Ashenvale to a family of elven hunters and homemakers. Because of her families already close ties to the local animals and environment she grew to respect and revere the many animals as well. Later she even began to respect the flowers and trees, which sometimes confused her older sisters. Anzi grew to love nature more and more to the point where she no longer wanted to go hunting with her older sisters and kill the animals she loved so much. She would simply sit alone in the forest with the many flowers and great trees, far away from her family's home.

During one of her meditations she was surprised by meeting a group of druids out on a pilgrimage to a local moonwell. They spoke with each-other for many hours and they told her stories of their journeys to the many forests under elven rule. They also told her of moonglade and the order of elven druids that live there and (of course) she was immediately obsessed with going there and becoming one. When they left they told her that she was very kind and well attuned to nature, but it was very uncommon for a female to become a druid. Though this did make Anzi quite disappointed, it did not stop her from trying to become a druid.

After several more years of living with her family she told them she was going to Moonglade, and after much persuasion on Anzi's part, she left with her family's consent. When she arrived in Moonglade after a long journey through the forests she had expected to be welcomed with open arms, but the druids denied her entry into the order. They told her she could stay, but they could not teach a lady to speak with the wilds because it went against tradition. She lived outside the town of Nighthaven alone in a secluded part of the glade for several years, meditating and living happily with the trees. Though she still longed to be able to connect with them in the way a druid could. A few months after Anzi had given up hope on becoming a druid the druids approached her with an offer of acceptance into the order and training her to become a druid. They claimed they had been watching her live alone in the Moonglade for the many years she had and had seen that she had just as much a connection to nature as any male could. Anzi was ecstatic. She accepted the offer of training and has lived in the Moonglade for over two centuries, learning the ways of the druid and how to commune with nature.

Most recently, during the demonic invasion she was surprised to learn of the strong presence of other races in Azeroth and fought bravely against the demons with the many diverse peoples. After the demonic threat was quelled she decided she wanted to learn more of these races and perhaps see more of the many different types of plants and animals of the world. Since she had finished her training, she had the freedom to leave Moonglade and live on her own. So she bid the other druids farewell and left the Moonglade in search of new experiences among the many people and places of Azeroth.
