Ance is a strange individual. Her belief in her idea of "Justice" from the light is a twisted form of what most believe. While others believe in salvation, she believes in redemption. And the only kind of redemption to her, is death. She believes herself to be a devout individual that can do no wrong. Her faith that the light is guiding her in everything she does is unwavering.

Ance's mood can range from depressed, to angry, to happy... but is more often a mix of all of them.

History

Ance was born to a group of travelers. They were a large family, and because of the danger that was involved in constantly being away from settlements, she began training as a warrior very early in her life. She started at the age of 7, though this proved to just be the -warm up- part of her life as she quickly proved to be too young to start. Instead, Ance turned to studying, as her physique was not developed enough to start physical training. She learned about the light, and something in her mind caused her to develop her own perspective of it. She became a squire to her father, who was a true paladin. He tried everything in his power to teach her of the good, and the righteousness of the light. But in her mind, she would only see what she wanted to.

As she grew and began training again, she kept creating her own world within her mind. In this world there was no justice but death for those that turned on the light. She, however, never let these ideas out and locked them away as a secret. Her family kept moving. Through the Orcs and all... they moved wherever it was safest. This kept up until she was in her twenties, and had become a full paladin herself. This was when they decided their traveling days were over. Her family headed for Stormwind, but never made it past the jungle of Stranglethorn. It was here, that a large group of bandits attacked their group. They had split off from their main group of travelers to return to the city, so it was just her family. Everyone was killed. The bandits didn't even stop to give them a chance to just give up their possessions. there was nothing she could do.

It seemed that a slight amount of luck was still with them as a small group of warriors traveling the same road found the scene. They quickly dispatched the bandits, sending them running back to wherever they came from. They found the two girls, and took them with them on their way to Darkshire. In this dark town they were taken in by a passing group of Knights. They were led by a man about the same age as her and her sister, perhaps just a couple years older. He took them in as Knights of his Noble House, and brought them back to Stormwind. They were finally home, but at a great cost.

Over time, Ance seemed to fall for the man that had saved her. The Lord of this Noble House. He too had lost almost his entire family, and even in the same way. Bandits killed both their families in the same jungle, so they talked a lot, and helped each other through the pain. But her sister was her replica. She had the same pains, the same sad eyes and cried in that same way. Soon, she too began falling for the man her sister loved. And she ventured down the same path Ance had. The time came when they discussed it with each other. They could never hate each other, or be mad. In fact they were almost excited that they had fallen for the same man. But he had not shown the same interest in either of them. So time passed, and they molded back into their positions as "Just some of the Knights". Neither she nor her sister could give up their feelings. They watched him grow into a great man, while they were left behind as he began to forget what past they shared.

Not too long ago, that man died. Ance and her sister grew apart just from that. All the years they had been together, and sudden negative feelings emerged between them. It didn't last for long but, that didn't stop Ance from leaving. She went back to Darkshire and joined with a group of those that believe in the same light she does.

As of the Cataclysm-

Ance was on her way to the park one day, having set up a meeting with her sister who she had not seen in months. She was excited to see her, but the day they were to meet was the very day of the Cataclysm. In the same hour they would be together, the park was completely destroyed and all in it counted as dead. Ance's sister is believed to have been among those that were in the park as she should have been waiting for Ance.

Ance now blames herself for her sister's death, believing that if she had not asked to see her that she would still be alive. She carries a picture of her and her sister together when they were younger, the only thing she has left of her. Her belief that her own desires to see her sister made her lose everything have driven her to be even more of a holy zealot, forcing the beliefs of removing worldly desires on herself.
