She tends to carry a staff on her at all times, and usually has at least two daggers hidden somewhere on her person. Anara can usually be found with a Cenarion tabard on.

Anara has black, runic tattoos covering her torso.

Personality

Anara has a rather passive personality, enjoying listening much more than talking. This isn't to say she's antisocial. She simply enjoys listening more than speaking out. However, if the subject at hand interests her, Anara will likely engage in conversation, revealing an intelligent, friendly personality.

Anara may act passively racist to all races but her own, the Tauren and the Draenei. This is due simply to her upbringing in a xenophobic society, and even though she knows better she'll often and unknowingly act slightly condescending towards races she doesn't approve of. She cannot stand Orcs. In battle, Anara tends to keep her cool, calmly assessing the situation and taking the best possibly route. She can be highly curious if her interest is piqued. Anara can also be slightly sarcastic, in a gently mocking manner.

History

Anara was born in Ashenvale during a rather peaceful period to a sentinel mother, Eliala, and a druidic father who emerged from the Dream for a mere month, planting the seeds necessary to create Anara before returning to his Barrow Den. When Anara entered the world, she was promptly left in the care of her mother's brother, a simple leatherworker. This wasn't because her mother abandoned her. The sentinel simply didn't have enough time to constantly care for her daughter. She would, however, visit Anara whenever she could, often bringing back little gifts from her duties, such as an oddly shaped leaf or a strange looking rock. Nothing too special, but trinkets that Anara came to love. Eliala would also train Anara whenever she was home, simply making sure that her daughter knew how to defend herself. Anara, who loved and idolized her mother, began to pester off duty sentinels to teach her their skills. Most would agree, with a slight feeling of annoyance. Anara showed a talent with staves, while her skills with the moonglaive lacked. When she wasn't attempting to train, Anara was spending time with her uncle, Andaren. The man played a rather important role in her life, teaching her more mundane skills, such as cooking, as well as improving her social aspects.

Anara came to love her dual life, learning from her mother and her uncle. When she was of age, she joined the Sentinels, serving as her mother did. This was her life for hundreds of years, simply patrolling and guarding against any that might threaten the Kaldorei. She didn't see all that much fighting until the 3rd war. When the Orcs began to chop down Ashenvale trees for lumber, Anara and her mother were sent to fight them. They constantly harried the Orcs, attacking them quickly before fading back into the forest. This strategy worked successfully for both Eliala and Anara until one day, on a raid that Anara was not there for, Eliala was killed. Anara, full of grief and anger, grew to hate the orcs.

When the Kaldorei were forced to work with the Orcs in order to kill the Undead and demons attempting to destroy the world tree, Anara found battling alongside them almost unbearable. She was quickly forced to pay attention to the battle, nearly losing her life several times in the midst of the melee. When the Night Elves lost their immortality due to the World Tree's sacrifice to destroy Archimonde, Anara didn't mind nearly as much as many older elves did. When the gender boundaries began to dissipate and females had the opportunity to become Druids, Anara decided to become one. She's spent her recent years simply wandering Kaldorei lands, training her newfound druidic skills, occasionally sending letters to her uncle to relay recent events in her life.

Skills and Abilities

Anara is adept in combat, both in and out of animal forms. However, most of her druidic abilities are severely lacking, particularly her offensive casting capabilities.
