Appearance

When he is passing as a normal scholar, he usually wears a white shirt, with some black here and there, and black pants. However when he is working with his shadow magics, he wears black robes with chains dangling.

Personality

Allister thrives on other people's negative emotions. Where he sees fear, he finds amusement. Where he sees sadness, he find a twisted form of happiness. He often uses shadow magic to torture a person's mind, pushing them to the limit. He is also interested in human reactions, and obsessed with life and death. Allister has an obsession with getting inside people's heads and toying with them, exploiting their past to make them relive their ghosts and slowly driving them mad. While he is twisted and evil, he himself is a calm, calculated, and morose person. Because being a shadow priest is frowned upon by pretty much everyone (excluding Forsaken), Allister pretends to be a traveling scholar, while when he is being his Shadow Priest-y self, he takes the name "Omen" to disguise his identity. This alter-ego he has, comes off as a friendly, inquisitive, and somewhat clumsy person.

History

Allister was born in Stormwind, the younger of two children. His brother was stronger, and generally better than Allister in most standings. This earned him the spotlight, while Allister lived in his shadow. Allister and his brother were deeply affected by the first and second wars in their childhood, but both were affected differently. Allister, was affected most by the killing, and the horrors of war. He generally became more morose and at times a little bitter. His brother on the other hand, felt the wars as a blow to his pride, and used the wars as motivation to become strong. When the fall of Stormwind happened, it was a shock for both of them. Their mother managed to get them north just in time, but she was not so lucky. The two of them, still mere boys, managed to make their way to Lordaeron with some other travelers and have a life there. They managed to become students of the light under an older man, Allister becoming a priest, and his brother a paladin. Once they had both reached full adult hood, they were prepared, but only barely, to help with the war. Allister would heal people who were coming back from battle, and his brother would go and fight with the other men.

One day, Allister's brother returned from a battle in which the Alliance had lost. There were many injured men, including Allister's brother, who was missing his arm, had a gash on his side, and greatly humbled. Allister and another priest tried to heal him the best they could, but he was just holding on by a thread. His brother survived, but would be unable to fight from then on. The Second War soon came to an end, and left Allister and his brother living in Lordaeron. Allister encountered a man one day, while picking up some supplies, adorned in a black robe, his face covered by a hood. After several encounters with this man, Allister approached him. The man revealed to Allister a way to become stronger, move out of his brother's shadow, shadow magic. Allister was not only intrigued, but he wanted this. He immediately agreed to be trained in this art, and abandoned his brother in the process. The next five years he trained in shadow magic, then, the Third War. Allister's brother managed to go to Theramore with other humans, and Allister and his master went as well, just on another boat. They continued their training, in secret of course. Allister started living a double life, one as a shadow priest, known as "Omen", and the other as Allister. His abilities in the light started to wain, as he began to lose faith in it. Near the end of the Third War, that Allister saw some horrors of, but managed not to play a hand in, he heard that his brother had returned to Stormwind, and Allister followed suit. Allister was becoming a little more insane, turning other people's suffering into his pleasure, and out of all things, he wanted to take revenge on his brother. Allister's now twisted mind had blamed their mother's death on his brother, for not protecting her, he blamed him for most that had gone wrong in their lives.

Allister found and followed his brother, though his brother would not recognize him. He was in "Omen" mode, clad in a dark robe, and a dark hood, with chains hanging off of his cloth in places, adding to the fact that it was night time. Allister entered his brother's home, and awoke him, brought him into the basement of the house, and tortured him with shadow magic for days. His brother had gone insane from the torture, as Allister warped his mind. This went to the point where he was begging for both his mother, and death. Allister granted one, and as he placed his hand over his brother's face, to end his life with a burst of shadow, he whispered into his ear, "Mamma isn't here anymore, you face your end alone."

Allister now wanders the lands, he at one point, gathered a group of adventurers together and convinced them that they should go on a quest of great importance. Allister pushed them to their limits, and indirectly, yet with full purpose, tortured and killed them all. Allister has lost all abilities in the light, but has been able to duplicate some spells with shadow, but with majorly different affects. Allister has also learned how to enter shadowform.
