Her maternal nature is what separates her from the rest of most Kaldorei. She is often recognized for her kind heart and understanding persona. She is highly regarded within the Sisterhood, often held to teach young novices and lead them on the correct path. However, Aliandril's motherly tendencies are often plagued by her history. Those who have knowledge of her past are more aware of the hardened, strict, and often stern Watcher that she once was. Others who are unaware only ever seem to get a certain touch of uneasiness. She can come across as intimidating and even frightening behind her gentle smiles. Her current façade cannot completely mask the truth within.

History

She was the first child of Jerolan and Tylandra, and would soon come to do her parents proud and carry her Dreamstalker name into history. She was a scholar at first, learning all that was thrown at her. When she came of age, Aliandril was brought to the Sisterhood of Elune, shortly before the events of the Sundering. As time progressed, she joined the Sentinels when they were formed. She remained there for centuries, enduring all the trials her people had gone through. When all was said and done, Aliandril resumed her duty, protecting her people from the evils at their doorstep.

The world was beginning to turn on itself. The Kaldorei people were threatened with the demons that encroached and the progressing Warsong Clan that made their way into Ashenvale. By then, Aliandril had joined the Watchers serving with her fellow jailors. Though, when Tyrande had fought to free Illidan, Aliandril wanted to have no part in the squabbles of her own people and returned to the Sentinels and back to Ashenvale where her parents had moved to. But her exchange of occupation was too late for the bad news to come.

Aliandril knew of her baby sister, but did not anticipate her kidnapping. When Tylandra had been about the forests, a party of demons had ambushed her, leaving her wounded and taking the child, Izshandriel with them. They were unsure what would happen to the child, whether they would kill it, raise it with their own, or perhaps use it as a hostage. It did not matter to Aliandril. She spoke to her officers that she would attempt to rescue her sibling alone, and that her actions were her own, and then she left.

Aliandril spent weeks searching and hunting down the demons who had taken Izshandriel. Day by day she grew closer until she had found her baby sister. She, too, was captured by the demons. Aliandriel was beaten for information, but her resistance proved her loyalty. One night, Aliandril was able to break free from her prison bars, as the demons thought her to be weaker than she was. She found her sister, and fled the following demonic hunting parties.

She returned and helped her parents raise Izshandriel until Tylandra had fully recovered. When her mother was well, she returned to the Sisterhood and continued to serve as a priestess to this day. But with her sister joining the Sentinel's and news of her betrayal and exile, Aliandril has only sought to pursue her sister once more.
