Algus is noble, often humbling a fellow blood elf rather than intentionally getting on their bad sides. He strives to do good in the world, and is partially blinded by tales of blood knights shown in the best of lights. Is very trusting of the friends he makes, but exceptionally cautious around anything that isn't a blood elf.
History
Algus grew up happily in one of the many villages that dotted eversong woods, leading a quite content life as he partially studied unnecessary trades, most notably cooking. As the years passed he would become somewhat handy with a blade, but otherwise never practiced the art of war – even whilst the second war was about to occur.
Of course, like many elves alongside himself, when the scourge came to knock on the door, he was not very well prepared. Before he knew what was happening, the village he had called his home had been overrun, and the door to his house kicked down by a few of the undead.
In a blind slash of bravery, he drew but a humble kitchen knife at his assailants. Within moments however, he changed his mind and fled off into the forests with hopes of hiding it out, which he was allowed to do. With no home, Algus had encountered a slight loss of faith in life, striding back and forth between trying to find something to now do in this world and therefore not thinking twice about leaving his High elven heritage behind.
Over the few years that followed, he would begin to hear tales of noble Blood Knights, defending the city and keeping the blood elves pure and noble. After a short while, he had enlisted amongst their ranks as a initiate, unaware of some of the dealings of the Blood Knights.
A few months later, he trained in the light and stepped out of the city in hopes of self-development, having grown weary of his superiors attitudes.
