Appearance

Akira almost always wears some form of primitive-looking robes around, except for battle. When she has to fight, she will usually switch to leather or mail armor and a mace or axe instead of her staff

Personality

Akira does not like other races at all. She will tolerate Orcs, Tauren, and Darkspears when she has to, but she can't stand to be near any other races, especially Undead. Unfortunately, Akira is often forced to tolerate their presence, and because of this repressed hatred, she can sometimes be quicker to anger at one of her own people than the ones she really hates.

Other: Akira is more of a fighter than a healer. She takes every opportunity to help defend her lands and prove herself with whatever power the spirits let her have

History

Akira's childhood was spent in the Daggerclaw Tribe lands in Stranglethorn Vale. She considered herself lucky to be born into a tribe where females ruled over the males and she was not a slave, but the jungle always brought dangers and hardships to its inhabitants nonetheless.

Akira was chosen to be the assistant of the Daggerclaw's witch doctor at a young age. She was fascinated with how her mentor contacted the spirits and used their power for the good of the tribe during hunts, battles, and even simple everyday tasks. After years of learning from the witch doctor, Akira was finally able to contact the spirits, although with much difficulty and very small results.

As Akira grew older and more talented, the Gurubashi started their plan to summon Hakkar. The Daggerclaw Tribe held out for several more years, but eventually their chieftain made the tough decision to buy passage to Kalimdor and make a new home there. The oasis they chose was inhabited by strange horse-men called centaur, and it was not home to any tigers, which the Daggerclaw Tribe worshiped.

At first, they were able to deal with the small camps of centaurs that lived there, but soon enough they started coming in greater numbers. One night, they launched a full-scale invasion against the Daggerclaw Tribe, killing the chieftain and many other tribe members, and causing the survivors to scatter.

With her tribe dead and disbanded, Akira made her way to Ratchet to decide what to do next. She heard people in the tavern speaking of a new Horde clan known as the Wartusk. They mentioned that this new clan was a force to be reckoned with, and they accepted any Horde member except for those prissy elves. She decided that she would search this new clan for Trolls worthy of starting a new tribe, since they were rumored to be so strong. After taking time to learn the Orcish language, Akira traveled to the northern Barrens to join this clan until she could find enough strong Trolls and convince them to make a new tribe.
