Other:

- Ailis has an armoured horse named Zya.

- Ailis has her first scar running over her left eye and wears it with pride.

- Aside her first scar, Ailis carries quite a few scars, both on her face and the rest of her body.

Personality

Ailis' first impression would be a warrior toughened through the years of hardship. How,ever, Ailis is generally a nice, cheerful Elf. She is a no-nonsense woman, more often than not in search of discoveries to bring home and adventure for herself. Despite this, she occasionally has moments of childlike behaviour. Ailis distrusts the Orcs for burning the forests of Quel'thalas in the Second War and Trolls for obvious reasons but will show neither openly. She dislikes Humans, feeling betrayed after what happened in and after the Third War.

In combat, Ailis is a merciless Elf, holding herself to a strict code of honour. She would never attack someone innocent and would even go against her superiours to protect the innocent.

History

A young Ailis

Ailis was born to the Noble Mage Ashilynn Senn'raethi as the second daughter. From an early age, Ailis showed little affection for the Arcane, often finding herself staring at the training guards rather than listen to the lessons her mentor had for her.

When she came of age, her mother allowed he to practice with the Fin'alah, the House' personal honour guard, provided she would not leave forsake her studies in the Arcane. She promised she wouldn't, but she did highly favour her training with the Fin'alah over her Arcane studies.

As the years passed, Ailis became adapt at both Arcane and swordplay. She decided to augment her own swordplay by mixing it with her studies. Knowing both sides, it wasn't very hard for her to mix the two arts and she gladly did so. It didn't take her long for her to realise how tight-knit these soldiers were and for her to join in on a friendly competition with the Fin'alah. She fought bravely but despite her best attempts, she was unable to win and was beaten down. The helmet she wore scratched over her eye, leaving a mark.

She awoke the next morning with her victor sitting beside her bed. They joked and he apologised to her. Ailis asked why, only to realise there was a bandage over her eye. Carefully, they removed it to reveal a scar to Ailis. It was there and, while it could be removed, she decided to keep her first scar and wear it with pride.

When the Second War came, Ailis, her sister and her parents called to arms and joined the war together with the Fin'alah. The war was intense but they all survived, Ailis herself was kept behind the lines to watch, but not to fight, due to her age. During these times, she started studying tactics. Months after returning, Ailis was blessed with a little sister as well as the leadership over one of the units of the Fin'alah.

Years, and much more training with her mentor and the Fin'alah, later, the Scourge attacked Silvermoon. Her sister was not of age to be left alone and so, Ailis, her older sister and their father joined the defence of Silvermoon. The defence went... poorly, to say the least and Ailis saw her father die beside her. It was then that she, as well as many other Elves knew the fighting was useless and their lands were doomed. They ran away, unable to gather their father's body. Their mother decided they had to flee their doomed lands.

With her mother leading them, the family fled from Silvermoon with as much members of the House as possible and towards Lordaeron. Here they met with Kael'thas' forces and were taught how to siphon Fel magic for their survival. Ailis, as well as her sisters, were forbidden from practicing the Fel magic offered to them, except to survive. Their mother started training in the ways of the Blood Mage.

When Kael'thas and his forces were captured, Ailis and her family were performing other duties. Her mother refused to let any more harm come to her family and ordered the Fin'alah to punch a hole through any human lines that might try to stop them from leaving. As they left the human forces behind, they were more organised than most civilian groups. They took a number of refugees with them, fleeing back to Silvermoon.

When they arrived back in Silvermoon, they were surprised to see the city being rebuilt already. They joined in the repairs as best as she could until the minions of Kael'thas returned to Silvermoon, bringing relief and hope to a shattered people. The city was practically rebuilt overnight after the arrival of Kael'thas' forces.

It was then that Ailis decided she wanted to know how well the Sin'dorei armies and the guard were trained and see if she could better them, as well as herself. She joined the army, refusing any special treatment due to her heritage.

By the time the Sin'dorei joined the Horde, much of House Senn'raethi's power and wealth was rebuilt and Ailis returned to her training, bonding and fighting alongside the Fin'alah and the army. Since then, Ailis has offered her sword to the Fin'alah, the armies of Silvermoon and the Horde, as well as making sure that she can bring back discoveries for her family to study.

Ailis and her military unit were sent to assist the Shattered Sun offense. To increase her chance of survival and victory, and secretly hoping to be spotted in a leading roll, she called her own unit of the Fin'alah to fight by her side. She coordinated the soldiers with the army every step of the way. Her skill leading this group as well as her kinship with these soldiers were noted. Despite her position with the Fin'alah, she fought amongst the regular soldiers.

During the battle for the Sunwell, her leadership was noted and afterwards, Ailis was granted a the title and privileges of Captain within the main army.

With the Shattering, new artifacts had been uncovered, new lands are open to be explored and discovered and new adventures to be had.

Skills and Abilities

Arcane Warrior: Ailis is one of the few Senn'raehi family members, if not the only one, who prefers a sword over magic. She never did forsake her Arcane studies and combined the two arts into one.

Savage Blink: Ailis has combined Blinking with a shockwave, teleporting a short distance and reappearing with or without a shockwave, depending on if she needs it or not. (Variation to Heroic Leap.)

Teleport Slash: Combining a minor Teleport with a simple slash of her blade, Ailis can quickly close the distance between her before striking at her enemy. (Variation to Charge.)

Spell Protection: Knowing how magic works much like a Mage, Ailis can negate most, if not all spells fired at her. Though, even the best can make mistakes. (Success determined by standard rolls.)

Nearsighted: Ailis was born nearsighted. She sees rather little when not wearing her glasses or special contact lenses. After prolonged wearing of her contact lenses, they start to hurt the girl's eyes.
