Under all that plate armor, is bare skin with a few scars on his chest, and large one on the left of his stomach and opposite it on his back.

Personality

Adalric has changed over the years, the young inexperienced Paladin he was is gone leaving a man moving from battle to battle, while leaving a war inside him un-touched. To most he's suspicious, aggressive and borderline hostile, but deep inside still beats the heart and mind of an aspiring paladin looking to help those in need and vanquish evil.

History

Adalric was born in the city of Stromgarde, he grew up living with his mother and never knew his father. He grew up in a middle-class home and spent most of his time as a young boy studying the history of the world. His studies made him interested in the first and second wars, as he spent most of his time reading about the things that happened. His interests eventually grew into passions and he dreamed about one day becoming a Knight.

During his late teens the ruler of Stromgarde was assassinated and the syndicate invaded with a group of Ogres. Adalric along with a large group of soldiers escaped into a secure part of the city, there Adalric took care of his mother. One day a knight by the name of Lazarus was waiting for Adalric when he came home, he claimed to be a friend of his mother and offered to get him out of the city. Adalric almost refused the offer but his mother agreed it would be the best choice for him, and that his mother would move in with one of their neighbors. Adalric prepared to leave with Lazarus but before he left his mother gave him a letter. Together with the letter they departed for the southern Kingdoms.

Upon arriving in the Southern Kingdom and realizing the threats to the villagers and townsfolk of Stormwind and the surrounding areas, Lazarus decided to take action and together with his Squire founded the Lambent Sovereignty. An order devoted to protecting the innocent, and vanquishing evil from the Eastern Kingdoms. Together with Lazarus, Adalric would learn to become a talented warrior fighting the Undead in Duskwood, the Defius in Elwynn and westfall and even travel to the North to keep an eye on Scourge movements in the Plaguelands.

For years the Lambent Sovereignty thrived, taking in all those who would offer help and accept donations from all across Azeroth. But one day, Lazarus' wisdom and conviction would be the undoing to all the Sovereignty. Adalric, now Knight-Commander of the Lambent Sovereignty was sent to Duskwood where a meeting of a secret coven rumored to be behind some of the corruption of Duskwood was set to happen. The Intel was from a reliable source, and while the intel was true the purpose of the meeting was quite different.

Instead of crusading to victory, vanquishing the coven and returning as heroes. The Sovereignty walked into a trap, losing almost the entire force to a brutal attack by Necromancers. Adalric managed to escape the ambush with his life, but he was badly wounded and it took years for him to recover. During this time the Lambent Sovereignty collapsed, Lazarus went missing and Adalric laid recovering thinking about all the things that happened.

After his recovery, Adalric tried to move on with his life picking up where he left off on his own. But he found he could not beckon the light like he used to. This development had led him to believe the Light had abandoned him, and things went downhill from there. Unable to get the funding to restart the Lambent Sovereignty on his own, he took on jobs as a Hired Sword helping those he could and taking other jobs that paid well to get by. Over the years, he moved on from doing those that mainly helped others to those that paid well. Today, he's still somewhere in the Eastern Kingdom, a hired Sword with a troubled past.
