Adalric has a strong frame around his decayed body, with much of his remaining muscle mass centered around his torso and upper arms, indicating his worth as a laborer or a warrior from his past. His boots, would be plate greavers that extend up to his remaining kneecap and his leather pants are tucked into the greavers quite nicely.

Personality

Alignment: Lawful Evil.

While most Forsaken tend to tread toward loner demeanor or those of crazed alchemist, who's only tie to humanity is to search for the paradise of their brothers. Adalric shows the demeanor of a rather well done gentlemen, giving a compassionate or respectful approach to those who deserve it. Displaying a face of a calm and collective nature, he rarely shows emotions outside from his usual range of quiet and polite conversations to a more direct and intimidating voice when confronted with tough decisions and situations. Yet, underneath his demeanor of a gentlemen, shows his true nature as a diabolic man. His true alignment is shown with those who push him far enough. Vicious in combat, merciless to those he deems unworthy to live and certainly dominate of those he possess in his hands.

History

Adalric was born in the land of Lordaeron, nearest to the town of Andorhal. His parents were farmers by nature, tending to the grains and crops that fed the vast population of the country of Loraderon. He followed in that path until he had reached adulthood at the age of eighteen, one year before the coming of the First War. When he had reached adulthood, he ventured away from Andorhal and enlisted in the Loraderon Army. Hoping to find honor and glory inside the ranks of the soldiers and knights, beside and above him in station. The fall of Stormwind had come and the Dark Portal had been open, unleashing the might of the orcish horde upon the Eastern Kingdoms. While Lordaeron was not at war in the First War, Adalric was one of the many soldiers to help fleeing refugees from the roads, into safety within the boundaries of Lordaeron.

With the massive build up military power between the years before the Second War had broken out, Adalric had made his way up to a Sergeant within the Lordaeron Army. Finally, after the passionate speech from Anduin Lothar and the Lordaeron Alliance being formed, the great campaign known as the Second War started. Adalric was stationed in the Arathi Highlands, until the Horde invaded the Arathi Highlands via naval power and overran the few Alliance soldiers that were stationed there. Adalric had shown courage when the Alliance forces retreated from the Arathi Highlands, by saving a large majority of civilians, with only a small number of men available to his command. He was awarded back at his station in Lordaeron and sent to fight again, when the Alliance finally made their counter attacks against the Horde. Having been familiar with the retreat and placement of orcish forces in the Arathi Highlands, he was sent back as a Sergent Major in the offense to take back the Arathi Highlands. The offensive strike against the Horde in the Arathi Highlands worked and they were able to push the Horde back to Dun Algaz and further beyond. with the victory in the South reached, the Alliance forces concentrated on the Horde in the North, Adalric was sent back North to aid in the offense of the North.

Uther Lightbringer had uncovered the treachery by Lord Perenolde in Alterac and destroyed the betrayer, yet was unable to stop the Horde from reaching the walls of Lordaeron. Adalric had been caught at the battle of the capital, fighting tooth and nail against the savage orcs he had previously fought so well. Adalric had fought well against what forces he had encountered, until he faced the newly created Death Knights, that Gul'dan had created for the new Horde. Brutally wounded in combat against one of the foul creatures, he narrowly survived by the passing of a High Elf Priest on their way to another part of the battle ridden city. Eventually the Horde was pushed back when Doomhammer retracted his forces to proceed after Gul'dan, to prevent him from dishonoring the Horde. Barely alive, Adalric was counted among the heavily wounded and stuck inside of a apothecary for some time. Eventually he was discharged from the military, unable to proceed with battle due to a disfigurement in his left arm.

Adalric was discharged from the military and sent back to Andorhal, with nothing more than his military pay and the old set of armor and weaponry that he used during the bloody conflicts. When he had returned to Andorhal, he found it to be a wreck of what he last remembered it, with the passing war the residents began to rebuild their homes and tend to those who had been injured or fallen under the blade. There, he had found the elven priest who had saved his life at the battle of Lordaeron City. Her name was Anaralith Cerroth, and beautiful elven maiden in simple terms. Adalric had fallen in love with her, the moment he had reconnected with her in Andorhal, she had been sent there to aid in the rebuilding of the many towns and villages that had fallen to the Horde. After a time, she had also made a romantic connection with Adalric and she had settled down with him in Andorhal, after her term of service was done with.

The years had been kind on Adalric and his now growing family, with a child already made and another one on the way. Adalric had turned out to be quite the capable father and a farmer for that matter. Their crop was large and boisterous and so was the booming town of Andorhal, now one of the main supply point for grain between the Lordaeron cities and villages. Anaralith had grown more studious in her magical arts, and even though with children, she was often called away to her superiors to receive more training. Adalric had taken up an interest in what she was studying and while she was away, he often read the books she left behind, learning some about the arcane arts. Yet, nothing to the point where he could cast a spell or even understand what went behind the power of the spell, only to the content that all arcane arts were founded upon. Anaralith and Adalric had grown apart after the many years had passed and the rumors of the plague to the north started to grip the lands with fear.

Anaralith had broken away from Adalric, after trying to appeal to returning to Silvermoon and away from the rumors of the plague around the area. Adalric refused and firmly stayed put in Andorhal, unwilling to move from his home. With that, Anaralith had taken her children and moved them to Eversong Forest, away from Lordaeron. Adalric was broken by her decision and simply moved on with his life, more of a broken man than anything. At this time, Andorhal's graineries were infected with the plague and with the investigation of Arthas and Uther, the time came to where it started to affect the people inside the town. Already eating the grain and seeing to what it did to the people, Adalric had fled Andorhal trying to make it towards Silvermoon. Unfortunately, Adalric was taken by the plague after a number of days before subcomming to it and turning into the undead abomination.

The domination of Kel'Thuzud had turned Adalric into nothing more, but a corpse slave. Doing only as his master instructed, and his master instructed the slaughtering of those people he once called brothers and sisters. With the Scourge being born, Adalric did his part as a slave and killed those who fought against them. With the culling of Stratholme, Adalric had eventually fallen as a member of the Scourge until Arthas found Frostmourne and faced Mal'Ganis in Northrend. The Death Knight had returned to Lordaeron and destroyed the country from within, Adalric was raised again for the purpose of war and did so unquestioning loyalty to the domination of the Death Knight and the spirit of Kel'Thuzad.

Arthas eventually led the assualt on Silvermoon to bring Kel'Thuzad back to life as a Lich, corrupting the Sunwell in the process and creating the Dead Scar. Adalric had participated in the great campaign, as just a soldier slaughter the High Elves while Arthas purused his goal to bring Kel'Thuzad back. As they pillaged and plundered Silvermoon, Adalric had come across his love Anaralith fighting for the survival of his grown children as the supported her with swords and shield. She recognized Adalric even through his decayed state and called out to him to stop this and help them, unwilling or unable to hear the cries. Adalric slaughtered them one by one and devoured their remains. With the revival of Kel'Thuzad, the process of Arthas becoming the Lich King was one step closer, already preordained to be completed besides Illidan's plans to foil him.

Time would pass and Sylvanas would eventually break free of the Lich King's grasp and create the Forsaken, Adalric would find his will retaking over the weakening hold of the Lich King, his mind had been scorched by the memories of his old life and what he had done under the careful guidance of the Scoruge. Broken and beaten by the past, he would eventually give himself to the Forsaken and help to retake Lordaeron from the Scourge and help the new race build itself up. Adalric was burdened by what he was and came to resent what he was and what his race was, nothing but corpses brought back by the perverted arts of magic. He would grow to hate the use of magic for twisted deeds and dedicate his unlife to hunting down those who practiced such magics.
