Personality: Ron is a Paladin, which speaks for itself. He is middle-aged and it shows when he is idle. He moves pretty stiff in the morning and usually wants an afternoon nap. He has a deep faith in the Light and usually shares it with others. He also tries to convert people, coming off as a narrow-minded bigot at times. He places great emphasis on relationships, duty and the Three Virtues. He is respectful to all, because he was raised that way. Ron is the very definition of Tenacity. His faith has grown because of his trials, wars, and losing both parents. Ron understands that trials build character and war brings his people together. He misses his parents, but knows that they served the Light by raising him. Ron wishes the same, for his understanding to be passed on through a son. Ron is still working on the last Virtue. He thinks himself compassionate, but he is really only compassionate to his fellow humans. Ron has no compassion for those who would do harm to humanity. He knows he needs to work on Compassion, and figures that is why the Light hasn't provided a wife for him yet.

History: Ron was born in the Kingdom of Azeroth before the First War. His father, Ronald Relijord, was a farmer and mother, Elaine, a seamstress. They attended the weekly services of Northshire Abby regularly. His first ten years went by pretty peacefully, an era he misses greatly. Like the rest of humanity, his life was shattered when the Dark Portal opened and spewed forth the Orcish Horde. Ronald and his family fled with the other civilians and managed to reach the shores of Lordaeron with the other survivors. He was about 11 years old as this time.

Ronald enlisted in the new Alliance of Lordaeron as they began to prepare for the Second War. He didn't want his son to have the same, bleak future so he committed his son to the Chapel. At first Ron was only able to sweep the floors, dust, and other simple chores. While he swept he was able to watch the fledging recruits being trained. Ron came home many nights discouraged, that he would never get the chance to fight for his kingdom like his father. Ronald often reminded Ron that he was would always be proud of him, whatever his carrer was. He would always tell him to treat everyone with respect, even if he was the lowest peon in the Chapel. Ronald wasn't blind to his son's ambition either, and spent many nights sparring before dinner. Other nights Ron spent his time in the great Lordaeron Chapel Libarary. He read many books on the Light, the Three Virtues and history books of great and mighty paladins. Ron learned that the first Virtue is Respect, which his father has been teaching him throughout his childhood. He looked ahead at the next Virtue, Tenacity, and was gripped by it's greatness. He saw this virtue as his next greatest challenge. With all the war and strife behind him, Ron knew the only way to join the ranks of the great heroes was to peresvere. At this point Ron set his face towards his dream of being a great paladin. He did every meaningless task with the utmost effort and a great smile. His depression slipped away as he began to act how he should, and not how he felt.

The teachers in the Chapel began to notice this hard-worker's attitude and Ron's reputation spread. Three years later Ron was finally accepted as a student in the Chapel. His time was split between martial training and study time. Ron was skilled with the longsword, but found more intrest in the Light and how it can transform lives. Whenever Ronald got the chance he would watch his son's sparring tournements. One night during dinner a guard burst throgh the door and told Ronald about the invading Horde. Quickly grabing his gear Ronald told his son to take his mother to saftey. Ron protested, saying that this was his time to defend his kingdom. Taking a knee Ronald pulled his wife and son to him saying, "I need you to do this son. I love you both." Ronald got up, grabbed his gun, and rushed out the door. Ron grabbed a book on the Light and with his mother headed out the back door. They managed to make it to the refuge with the other civilians. Ronald Relijord was killed during the Siege of Lordaeron by the invading Horde.

With the Horde defeated and the Dark Portal destroyed, Ron and his mother returned to New Stormwind. Ron's training as Paladin continued until was completed at the age of 21. His mentor took a longsword, blessed it and gave it to Ron. He joined the army and was finally able to join his kinsmen in battle. He was granted a set of plate armor and shield for his service.

A couple years afterward, King of Stormwind Varian Wrynn sent troops to Southshore and Hillsbrad to repel the scourge invasion. Ron got his first taste of battle, and undead, here. Ron found that he was more adept at healing his allies than defeating undead. He began to focus his skills at channeling the light. He never gave up his martial training because he knows he is most needed on the battlefield. He was stationed in Southshore for twelve years, defending the land. Ron got a letter one day, stating that a new plague created by the Lich King has ravaged the kingdom. Ron returned home and indeed, the plague claimed his mother's life along with countless others.

Currently Ron Relijord resides in Stormwind. He is no longer officially in the Alliance military, though he would jump at any need for defenders. He is currently looking for a wife to carry on the family name, but knows few would find the military life appealing. Ron enjoys travel, fishing and a good book during down times.
