History

Musaithe was born in the forests of Ashenvale. As he grew up, he was educated like all those before him. He learned of the world, the role of the Kaldorei with it and the task that all Kaldorei must perform under the act of a druid. It was a strict childhood but also a forced one, something he didn't understand at the time. It was something the world needed, for if the druids never existed, what would happen to the world?

Unfortunately for Musaithe, he lived in a life style that left him with a assumption: All men became druids, it was a rite of passage and one that a person could simply never fail. On the day he was to enter the dream for the first time and when he attempted to enter he was simply unable to enter. He has never known why however.

What happened next to him caught him by surprise; he was shunned by his kind. In the next ten or so years he would of attempted to live his life as he did. Eventually, he managed to meet a male elven craftsman. He was aware of the fact that some men went down the path of blacksmithing and fletching but had in fact never met one in his younger years. After a brief conversation he became apprentice to the man, learning his ways of making bows and tending to metal.

Musaithe attempted to show pride in his work, trying to craft items for people to use and the like. However, his amateur work received little attention and to him it felt like he was back to where he started. He came to a conclusion that his own kind simply didn't need him, so he left his home and set off as a lone wanderer. Eventually, when he arrived in the lesser-populated jungles of feralas. For most of his life then on, he would wander anywhere southwards of the jungles. Most of his time was spent alone, with exclusion of the occasional encounter with other races that lived on the continent of Kalimdor.

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, those into years and then through to centuries and during this time, he met barely anyone, save the occasional other Kaldorei. Musaithe would continue to wander, as he never found acceptance or the want to be accepted, until about a thousand years ago. Musaithe had started to notice armies moving south through the jungle and as he asked the occasional passer-by he began to find out about what was happening in Silithus.

Musaithe, after a few days of debate to himself, decided to enlist to help the fight against the Silithid. As most people of the time knew, the war of the shifting sands was bloody and vicious. This left Musaithe affected by the ordeal, and so he wanted to forget the war and therefore has not gone as south as the Thousand Needles ever since.

The years went by again and the alliance arrived on Kalimdor. A few months had past and the new races had caused a large amount of curiousness for Musaithe when he found out by a chance encounter with one of his own kind, talking about the fall of the world tree and the newly discovered humans.. Because of this, he decided one day to approach the human settlement of Theramore, unaware of the Kaldorei joining the alliance. To his surprise, he would be taught common and eventually finding himself in the city of Stormwind.

Dumbstruck, he began to set off out into this new continent, hoping to find something of worth on his journey. On his travels, he encountered a small bunch of dwarves, under the banner of a business named 'Axestorm Smiths'. After conversation he found himself 'hired' as a guard, ending up being a friend of the group as he generally stayed with them. Rivalries formed, friendships flourished but this wasn't him. He decided to part ways, keeping his reasons to himself as he made his ways back to the forests of the Kaldorei. There, he actually managed to find a band of Elves that fought to protect the forests, named the Oathkeepers, and enlisted as soon as he met the group in person. Needless to say, he was amazed they accepted his application.
