The fall of Gilneas still fresh on his mind, he resorts to booze to help block some of the painful memories. He is physically large and imposing, and makes no efforts to hide his presence. but behind all that is a kind soul who refrains from violence unless absolutely necessary. Aaric is silent, rarely speaking of what thoughts enter his mind unless he truly desires it to be spoken. When severely provoked, such as mentioning the death of his uncle as a joke, Aaric is prone to rage.
History: Aaric was born to a trapper and his wife in the small town of Duskhaven. He is the oldest of his 2 other siblings, a younger brother and his baby sister. The community of Duskhaven viewed the Targolds as an honest, respectable family who worked hard to aid the town with its needs of pelts, hides and meats. Aaric spent most of his adolescence helping his father set traps up for the wild fauna. Aaric's father also had a brother who was of the local militia. That man was Aaric's idol, every day Aaric would ask his uncle if there were any new tales of bravery he could tell him. Aaric remembers the smile on his face whenever he saw Aaric, how he told him that one day he would make a great soldier. It was with that same smile he told Aaric his dying words when struck by an arrow when the Forsworn invaded. It haunts Aaric as he recalls the mass of deaths and injuries that he saw.
