Personality

Thaddeus does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Typically, he won't be too glad to have a leader if he would find himself into a group or organization. As for aiding the powers of the Law and Goodness, Thaddeus would rather lie, driving them into a whole new direction. Hence his heart is frozen, he will betray anyone and have no remorse.

History

Born a year before the First War erupted, Thaddeus Skelos was a member of a small family that lived in the peaceful Elwynn Forest. His family members were hated by their community because of their violent and rude behavior.

After the City of Stormwind fell to the Orcs, Thaddeus' family retreated to the north, along with the other survivors of the invasion. There they refrained themselves from quarreling with the others because of the fear that they could have been exiled.

When Thaddeus was about 7 years old, the Second War started, this time the Alliance made a memorable victory over the Orcs and managed to place them all into internment camps for greater control over them. The young boy and his family returned to Elwynn and started to rebuild their home. By witnessing numerous arguments between his parents, Thaddeus discovered hate, the emotion that will consecrate him.

He was getting older day by day and after he reached 14 years old, his father started to teach him the basics of combat fighting. Training each day, Thaddeus was developing his strength and skills on the battlefield. His favorite way of fighting was the close ranged one as he enjoyed punching and kicking. One of the few friends that Thaddeus' father had happened to be very experienced in close-quarter combat, including the martial arts style. The teenager was fascinated by his new master's moves and became desperate to learn and practice. While the other kids from the community where Thaddeus and his family lived were doing a lot of different activities, like playing with each other and reading books, Thaddeus was doing nothing but practice what his mentor was teaching him. This wasn't a problem at all since the young Thaddeus was clearly happy with his life.

More and more years passed and Thaddeus reached 20 years old when the Alliance seemed to go over a crisis once again: the Orcs broke free from their camps and a whole different threat was emerging in the Eastern Kingdoms, the living dead. Great cities were vanquished by the great numbers of those walking corpses, who were killing everything that came upon their path. The forces of the Alliance seemed to be unable to fight against the Scourge. While almost every man rushed to get weapons and fight the Undead, Thaddeus, his father and his mentor remained on position, but were still vigilant and aware that the rotting cadavers who were threatening the whole world could have come to 'knock at their door', too.

After the biggest part of the Undead army went to Northrend, a great part of it was still in the Eastern Kingdoms and so, the Argent Dawn is formed in order to bring the walking corpses to the grave, for good. Many willing men and women joined the organization, the majority of them being overrun by a strong will to revenge on the Undead for all the horrors they had let loose upon Azeroth. However, few of them truly knew the real plan of the Argent Dawn and the others rushed into a blind rage to kill the remaining Undead, this leading only to certain death for those foolish enough to venture alone or in small groups against the massive amounts of the Undead.

This was the case of Thaddeus, too, who was about 26 years old by that time and believed that he became strong enough to fight whoever he wanted. Though both his parents and his mentor didn't let him do such a foolishness, Thaddeus wanted to achieve glory, so he joined the Argent Dawn only for the sake of fame. After a few minor fights against the Undead forces, Thaddeus thought that along with a few more comrades, he could have retaken many villages from the grasp of the Scourge. He managed to convince a couple of men to join him and went straight to a village which was said to be a great strategic point for whoever controlled it. Thaddeus and his comrades cleared the entrance into the village and everything seemed fantastic, each of them started to boast about becoming famous. All of a sudden, three ghouls projected their presence on the battlefield and charged at Thaddeus' group, so he tightened the grip on his sword and shield and counter attacked the foes. The ghouls were not so easy to defeat and while Thaddeus was slicing one of them, the other two were clawing him. That was when his team came for the rescue and annihilated the three cadavers, though Thaddeus got quite injured after that 'impulsiveness show'.

There was no time to rest as the Undead were coming from any direction towards the small group. The soldiers were getting weaker and weaker, but they did not lose hope and yet fought with great devotion for their cause. Thaddeus positioned himself somewhere in the middle of the group and this was the main reason why he remained alive in this battle. The ghouls took down three of Thaddeus' comrades and soon after the third one fell, different noises could be heard from a short distance. The ground started to tremble as three abominations made their presence into the battlefield. Two of them charged at the remaining soldiers, including Thaddeus, while the other one stood motionless in the front of the group. The young warriors were no match for the giant abominations and soon, they all fell to the ground under the ravaging strikes of the sewed corpses. Thaddeus managed to grab a shield from one of his comrades and made his departure towards the exit. He was yet exhausted and when he reached the bridge, he fell on his knees and looked back to see if the Undead were running after him. Amazingly, the ghouls and the two abominations were retreating, but after the two giants passed, Thaddeus saw that the other one that stood still the whole time was still there and was apparently, looking at him. The warrior tried to pull himself up and run, but right when he thought he was safe, the abomination threw it's hook right into Thaddeus' shoulder and dragged him back. While he was at the abomination's feet, Thaddeus realized that his dreams became ruined and closed his eyes, waiting for his death to come. He didn't have to wait long because a couple of ghouls came in and clawed him until his last breath.

Since the Scourge needed more troops to assault the Scarlet Enclave, death knights were risen and Thaddeus was between them. They were still mindless servants of the Lich King and they managed to devastate the Enclave three years ago.

That year was also the year of their freedom, for they were freed from the Lich King's influence at Light's Hope Chapel. Thaddeus was between them, but he was completely changed after those years in the service of the Scourge. His emotions were completely lost and he became frozen under the veil of hatred. He started to hate the Argent Crusaders because they didn't send more troops that day he went to the village.

The Death Knight didn't even come back to his home and instead, he started to travel on his own, trying to horrify and unleash his might on those who dare to challenge him.

Skills and Abilities

Frozen Barrier - Thaddeus can cast a barrier upon himself or his allies that would absorb a set amount of damage before exploding. The particles of ice can fly in any direction after the explosion.

Ice Blade - On a successful attack, Thaddeus will affect his enemies' movement speed by slowing them down, hence the chilling power of his blade.

Frost Nova - Thaddeus blasts his enemies with a spell that slows their movement speed and produces a massive amount of pain.

Cold Feet - This tricky spell freezes an enemy's feet and makes him/her unable to move for a few moments.

Ground Freeze - Thaddeus freezes an average portion of the ground near him, by impaling his sword into it. His enemies would move harder in this zone and Thaddeus would be able to slide towards his opponents, knocking them off their feet.

Have an Ice Day - Unleashing his frost powers, Thaddeus freezes one of his enemies from his feet to his waist and lets him/her struggle to break the strong ice.

Frostbite Rage - The Death Knight covers both of his fists in ice, rushing into a blind rage towards his foes, mercilessly pounding and punching them.
