Ralnoc speaks in a soft unwavering voice, always surrounded by an air of tranquility. Every movement he makes seems to be one of practiced grace. More often than not the way he speaks and the words used often sound like rehearsed poetic verse. Ralnoc's belief in his virtues are so strong that he often comes off as close-minded or arrogant in a conversation or debate. In his mind he is pursuing the most altruistic of goals and any who dare challenge his ideals is ugly and corrupt in his eyes.

Ralnoc has a thing about beauty, especially the beauty of that which is natural. He feels at peace when among flowers and trees, and the such. When nervous or thinking about something he often has the habit to twist the strands of his hair between his fingers or tap his fingers obsessively.

History

Growing up Ralnoc saw the Scourge destroy his home and those of his fellow Blood Elves. He watched the violent tempers of Orcs in battle. He looked with disgust at the disfigured bodies of the Undead. Chaos and War were everywhere, both keeping Ralnoc on the edge, unsettling his body and leaving him with no peace of mind. Horror gave him little reason to eat or sleep, crippling the elf as he stayed in the shadows of Silvermoon, pale and slim. The only escape from the distress was hiding.

When Ralnoc met the Blood Knights his entire world changed. For the first time Ralnoc was exposed to the light, to it's beauty and glory. As the Knights opened his eyes he became obsessed with the wonders of light in the world and felt that his race must be pure, the one people above the violent and crazed races of their world.

This love for fellow Sin'Dorei proved to be short lived. Just after becoming a Blood Knight adept Ralnoc was exposed to one of his own, taken over by a desire for magic. For the first time he observed the fragility of his kind to arcane power. The event shattered all that he grew to love about Blood Elves, their vulnerability making him feel the same distaste he did when viewing any other race.

From that day on world disgusted Ralnoc, from the plague known as Undead to the madness he saw in Sin'Dorei whenever he looked into their fel-green eyes. He was repulsed by the obsession he saw in all people, the desire to advance themselves, lead, and kill.

Eventually Ralnoc left his own home in Silvermoon, giving up on the life of his fellow Sin'Dorei. His eyes longed to see true beauty again and in nature he found it. From the delicacy of a flower to the elegance of the rising sun he found perfection in natures light. Ralnoc found a new appreciation in grace in sword fighting, blades clashing and sparkling an art. However, it was light itself he found most radiant. Preserving beauty became is one true purpose and Ralnoc took up the practice of using both the blade and holy light to do so.

As time passed Ralnoc started to wander away from his home. He started to wonder about the power he used, about the Naaru and their ties to the light. These thoughts never occurred to him before but he quickly became obsessed with them. He found a mage capable of getting him to Outland, leaving all he knew without looking back.

In Outland he saw destruction that sickened him. He stood outside of Thrallmar, gazing around terrified. The lands had been destroyed. There was nothing left, no life, only death. He agreed to travel with a group that was heading to Shadowmoon Village and needed a few swords to help hold off any attacks. It was when moving through Terokkar that he saw the forest and life once again. It confused him how such completely different places could exist, side by side no less. When he asked those he traveled with many of them told him stories of the once beautiful Draenor and it's destruction.

It gave him much to think about. Azeroth too is a beautiful place and the idea of such havoc wreaked upon it gave Ralnoc nightmares in his sleep and while still awake. In Shadowmoon Ralnoc departed with the group. He spent a few months there, learning to ride on a flying mount. Ralnoc became fond of his mount, a wyvern he had named Mia. It had become his main companion during his time in Shadowmoon. Finally, he set out to Shattrath to finally find the Naaru.

And when he set sights on A'dal and all of Shattrath, he was amazed. For reasons he could not explain he felt as if A'dal was almost the incarnation of Light itself. There soon became no difference in Ralnoc's mind as if he were it. It was because of this revelation that Ralnoc joined the Sha'tari Sky Guard, to help aid the Naaru and protect the borders from those who would do harm to Shattrath. He remained a low ranked soldier, simply fighting for the place he now called home.

A while later Ralnoc's fears, his nightmares about Azeroth, about its beauty being lost, returned. He could deny them no longer, realizing that he had to go back. He took leave from Shattrath, returning to Silvermoon. Since then he has become focused on fighting against any evil he thinks would harm the land, always keeping in mind the vision of the city he thought most glorious in all of Outland.
