Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Unpredictability swathes this man like a fine silken suit. He spent most of his life holed up in a library, study, or other enclosed, bibliophilic space and it shows: both in his pale skin and poor social skills. He is generally helpful to any alliance or neutral-aligned person who requires his aid, so long as they pose no threat to Dalaran or the Alliance. He prefers to avoid combat, and will usually daze or otherwise befuddle his opponent in an attempt to escape any 'sticky situation.' Any attempts to make him rationalize his actions will likely fail.

He is also addicted to sweets and will not hesitate to take candy from a baby.

History

Born to a Ex-Theologian and a Mistress of Arcane trickery, Quillion was shipped off Dalaran from Grand Hamlet at a young age. He instantly fell in love with the city and all it's curious odds and ends. He felt at home there, not like with his mother and father who were far to infatuated with each other to pay him any attention. He learned spellcasting with affinity and was suspected of being a sorcerer due to his seemingly effortless teleportation skills. He would spend hours creating spellforms, simply to see how they reacted to external stimulus. During the rare moments he left the Dalaran Libraries, he would wander the streets, simply enjoying the atmosphere created by the various shops and museums there.

Then it all crumbled. Archimonde took his precious home-away-from-home and gave it a proper ravaging. He was absolutely devastated. He, being one of the many that were not able to flee the falling buildings and pillars of unholy energy that tore apart his beloved city, was nearly crushed in the lower-levels of the deepest library in Dalaran. He could recite the title of the book he was reading when the ceiling buckled to this day. "On Blind Teleportation: When You Can't Quite See Where You're Going." What luck! He finished the last page just in time to avoid the brick that would have fallen on his head. Needless to say, one Blink and a Feather Fall later, he was floating down into the ruins of Dalaran, already in tears for all those who had fallen and, more importantly, the coffee shop.

From the rebuilding, all the way up to the move of the city, not once did Quillion Zorandyr leave Dalaran. His strength in Enchantment made him valuable in the reconstruction of the city, and his strength in rhetoric made him even more so: in restoring the Library.

Skills and Abilities

Teleportation Master:

Quill spent much of his life mastering the art of teleportation. As a master of the art, he can Blink farther and more frequently than average. He can also teleport objects as well as other people short distances with relative ease.

Reading as a way of life:

Quill can read at seven hundred words-per-minute with approximately ninety-seven percent accuracy.

Abjurer:

Quill's shields are second only to his teleportation. His shields are thicker, more resilient, and less likely to shatter under pressure. His levitation spells are stronger and more keen and controlled than average. (For example, wind and other outside forces are less likely to skew the levitated object's path.)

Minor Illusionist:

He can easily cast illusion spells of a parlor-trick level. (Changing things' colors, making himself briefly invisible, and the like.)

Master Enchanter: School and Profession.
