Personality

Odalis tends to show his older age often. He's crotchety, and gruff. He's not afraid to show his opinions, or his rabid hate for the Alliance. He's respectful to his superiors, however, he's less so to those under him, expecting hard work and diligence from them rather than excuses and failure. He has a deeper respect for those under him that would rather get their jobs done than make time to argue. He shows compassion more-so through his actions rather than his words, which are often harsh and strong. When faced with a situation where he has to give praise, he'd much rather do something for the person than give them a verbal pat on the back... sometimes in the form of a commendation of sorts, or paying for armor expenses. All in all, he's more or less the type of man to live by action, rather than thought or words.

It's not often Odalis takes time off, despite the fact that retirement is a tempting thing for him. He works as hard as any younger elf, more than happy to fight any fight alongside his companions in the Blood Knights.

When not on duty he enjoys listening to music, and relaxing with a pipe. This is one of the things that mellows him out, and makes him calm, mostly due to the addition of bloodthistle, one of his favorite things to smoke in the mid afternoon.

History

Most of Odalis' life, he'd devoted to being a priest. He was a firm man, very steady in his beliefs, and in his loyalty to his people. That's why when Silvermoon didn't receive aid from the humans, he was more than happy to part from them, despising them and the fact they let his people down.

During that time, he'd started to train like many others in the ways of the Blood Knights, stealing the Naaru's power to accomplish his own goals. He used this power to help in the war, placing to the side his old beliefs to make way for war. He helped in cleaning up the undead, and trying to stifle the attacks, quickly gaining a bit of reputation among the organization for being strong, and cunning.

He did whatever missions came his way, helping with the battles between Horde and Alliance as well.

That's when Kael'Thas betrayed his people. He took part in the Shattered Sun Offensive, taking out those that betrayed his people, as well as re-learning how to use holy power without having to steal it from the Naaru. Through this he became more faithful... and more vindictive. In these battles, he took control of a few small units after the leader wasn't able to due to injuries, making strategic advances towards the Sunwell. He helped personally secure some areas with his group, allowing for more troops to advance quicker. He quickly became known as being resourceful in quick battles, making use of the environments and units to their fullest, while minimizing casualties. He started to gain recognition with his superiors.

He rose to the Rank of Champion through these events, and has been one since. During this time he'd fought many battles, even going as far as losing his eye to one of the enemies. He was dragged off the field by one of his battlemates, and treated for his wounds, coming back to fight again not long after, despite his injuries.

He took part in aiding the fall of the Lich King, not keen on fighting along side Death Knights and in some cases, the Alliance, however he was of the stance that the unity there, although brief, was very needed.

Now he looks towards the new, budding war between the Alliance and the Horde, hoping that he can take part in it before he feels he has to retire. Retirement is not something he sees himself doing, however.
