History

Metyatavo was born to a warrior father and a simple mother in Camp Winterhoof. From a young age his father started to hold high standards for Metyatavo, forcing him to start training at the age of 10. Helping him create his first spear from the bones of a Shoveltusk Stag, which was Metyatavo's first kill using his own fathers crafted spear. The event of his first kill and weapon is a memory that he would keep forever, so much that he even uses the spear to this day.

For the next few years Metyatavo learned basic combat skills from his father, sparring and weight lifting became an every day activity for the two. Eventually reaching the age of 15 he began to train with other Taunka his own age, facing opponents his own size compared to his fathers was a nice change of pace for Metyatavo. Feeling as if the challenges weren't up to par he was always looking for bigger and tougher matches. Along side his physical training he picked up the most basic of hunter skills, tracking, bowman-ship and camouflage were all skills he needed to learn if he was ever to hunt being the size he was.

Throughout the years Metyatavo had became best friends with another from the same camp, Temto. The two were inseparable, always stuck in friendly competition as they both took the paths of hunters. When Metyatavo reached the age of 35, his father had passed. Surprisingly to Metyatavo, he wasn't as sad as he had thought we would be when this day came, instead he felt proud of the life his father had lived. Leaving behind only good memories and Metyatavo's mother, whom Metyatavo would care for daily as he was sure her own time would be coming soon. The next morning after the ceremony for his deceased father, he was looking through his possessions. Finding his fathers spear and clay water jug, a jug which he kept. Filling his fathers jug with alcohol the camp makes naturally instead of water, which he believes to help keep him warm when he drinks, he wears it proudly on his hip every day. After a long night of drinking, Metyatavo had finally come to the conclusion that his father had only one true goal in his life, to see Metyatavo become all that he could be. A goal that Metyatavo would walk to all corners of the world to complete. Spending six years seeing all of Northrend had broadened his horizons in terms of ingenuity and hunting, taking part in hunting game of all kinds as he kept challenging himself. After spending so long away from Camp Winterhoof, he returned, able to put his new skills to work helping his kin and teaching them what he could.

Five more years had passed, Metyatavo's mother was slowly decreasing in her health. This day was not like the rest before, Metyatavo could feel that something was wrong or something wrong was going to happen, this was the day the Scourge started their attack on the Taunka camps. Helping defend their own camp for as long as he could, while managing to get his mother safely out and join the others on their way to Camp Oneqwah. Metyatavo stayed with many other Taunka warriors including Temto and their leader, Chieftain Ashtotem to protect their land as best as they could. For days they held out until creatures across the sea arrived to offer help, creatures Metyatavo couldn't even describe. They introduced themselves as The Horde, a race of small stocky and green creatures known as orcs. With their help the Tuanka were able to hold off the Scourge well enough to save their camp, although their Chieftain agreed it was safest to move as many as they could to Camp Oneqwah in Grizzly Hills.

For the next year Metyatavo helped the Horde in their expedition of Northrend against the Lich King. Finding friends amongst their ranks he slowly considered himself part of this Horde like many of his kin, feeling as if he was unable to repay for their help. After the conflict was over, the Lich King no longer a threat, Metyatavo returned to Camp Winterhoof to help rebuild it to it's natural state. Moving to Camp Oneqwah to see his mother after their home was rebuilt, he learned that his mother had wished to stay at the new camp, he wouldn't dare object her wish, instead he said his goodbyes and decided to venture the world as his own man, the kind his father envisioned him to be. His friend Temto has been missing since the attack of the Scourge, without the friendly competition he always relied on, he started to push himself harder and harder until he held high standards for himself much like his father did.

During his travels in Azeroth he had worked as a bouncer for a local bar near Booty Bay. It was mutually beneficial for both sides, Metyatavo had a place to live and spend his time away from Northrend, and the bar got the protection they needed from him. When he felt he had wasted time, though it was time well spent, he set off to find other means of work. He heard about the Argent Crusades work in battling the Scourge, a force that Metyatavo would gladly help destroy, and he set off to the Plaguelands to give them all the help he could offer.
