While she is much smaller than her average Kaldorei sister, she makes up for this in speed and agility. She is very fast once she reaches to top speed, and is well able to dodge and deflect attacks rather than full on block blows or take hits. She is talented with marksmanship as well as with her twin swords. Should the situation call it, she has a few throwing knives lodged into her belt. As well as any good Sentinel, she carries the knowledge and possession of a standard first-aid kit, along with a coil of rope should she need to bind anyone with it. Of course, she knows how to properly tie knots.

Usual Garments/Armor: Mava has a custom set of gear that she practically lives in, save for the rare moments she is able to take a bath or simply relax. She wears a black and white set of light leather boots, leggings, gloves, and sleeves torso piece. A hood is always draped over her head, while a cloak flows freely down her back. Mava wears an under shirt, along with pants in case she travels to colder regions. Her two primary swords are on either side of her hip, and a few knives are shoved into her belt.

Other: Among the scars on her body, she contains a rather gruesome scar running across her throat. The damage was so inflicting, that it has weaken the woman's voice. She cannot raise her voice to the level of shouting, and she often whispers to the point where no one can hear her. It's shameful and embarrassing should she have to repeat herself.

Personality: Mava is a proud, young Kaldorei who believes in the traditional standards of social and military society within her people. In such a way, she is very patriotic to whatever cause her people leads, and is willing to lay down her life for the noble pursuit. However, she does tend to share newer trends, such as accepting the assistance of the younger races and believing that the Kaldorei should provide aid and guidance to them. Regardless, her duty comes before anything else. Justice and protection overcome most of her actions, given that they are applicable.

Socially, Mava is reserved, hardly venturing out to speak to someone unless the topic was of important, such as military matters. This does not help with her now permanently soft voice. However, should one manage to befriend this Kaldorei, she becomes completely and utterly loyal to the bond of friendship, and would not hesitant to put herself in harm's way to protect what friends she does manage to make, even if it may cause her death.

The little things please her in life. From the most odd and random objects she will find something worthy of them. From time to time, she'll find or create small trinkets to be given to her close circle of friend as a symbol to their bond, or they will just entertain her when she is alone. She is not one for flashy, extravagant items. Give her a ball of yarn, and she'll find a way to have fun.

History:

Mava Shadowbreeze started out in the world in a rough position. She was the result of two life-long mates finally taking the final step in order to bring a child of their own to the world. However, since the birth of Mava, her mother slipped into an illness, that grew worst with each passing year. The Priestess of Elune in their settlement could not restore the woman's health, to the family's dismay. Mava's mother passed away when she was only five, leaving the odd case of her father to raise her. Galias. Galias was the only blacksmith within their Kaldorei village, a trade he desired to stay with instead of joining the other males to become druids and enter the Emerald Dream. Though, Galias was not a very caring father. He was focused on his task of producing the metal work for the settlement, and that is was occupied most of his time. Little Mava was able enough to maintain herself, however, often visiting the Sentinels when they were stationed within town, giving them small childish gifts when she could and receiving other gifts and 'play time' from the Sentinels. They almost became like extended family to the young elf. She had always aspired to be among their ranks, with the stylish uniform and the ideal of protecting their lands from the evils afar. She was often scolded by her father when she did pretend to be a Sentinel, slashing away at demons with her trusty sword-stick. Galias did not desire such a path for his girl, rather wishing her to stay in the settlement and learn how to take over the blacksmith when he was unable to keep the forge up.

Though, as the woman grew up into an adult, she managed to progress into the ranks of one of the Sentinel, to her father's dismay. However, her short and small stats often left her out-matched against the other sisters, leading to Mava being picked on verbally and physically. She took the beatings to heart, using it as fuel for her training, often sparking conflict between a few of the Sentinels, but never rose beyond knocking each other around during spars. A large wake-up call occurred to Mava during the War of Shifting Sands.

Before the first war Mava was to engage in, she was living the dream she always wanted. Little threats roamed the world at the time, and she was able to bask in the glory that was being a Sentinel. That came crashing down when the armies were sent out against the Silithid and Qiraj. Mava experienced war and all its glory and all its fame. She saw countless sisters that she had trained and bicker with, slaughtered under the war-machine. She herself was hardly a match for the brutal foes, suffering near death countless times. It was here, that she forged a relationship to a Teneria Frostbloom. A senior Sentinel befriending the younger, a mother-daughter, mentor-student bond was formed. Under Teneria's watchful eye, Mava managed to improved her own combative abilities, while surviving the war with only scars to prove her service.

During this time, her emotions harden as she matured into a full-fledged woman. She soon went to join the Watchers, determined that this elite core of Kaldorei would be a better path for her to fall under, protecting the lands from specific targets and traitors. Where she has grown in prowess within the Sentinels, it meant little to the ranks of the Watchers. Again, her limits were pressed and broken as she tried to adapt and compete to the higher classed warriors. She often fell short, damning her to lesser positions and tasks. Over a few centuries, she mustered up the courage to apply for the Warden position. Her task was simple; locate and capture a rogue Demon Hunter that was causing havoc in Azshara.

So, she set out on her valiant task. It took her two weeks to track down the Kaldorei male, and when she moved in for the capture, her ambush did not go as planned. The Demon Hunter was far more superior than Mava was, and even with her tactics and catching the traitor off guard, she was swiftly put out of commission by a glaive slash across her throat. As the woman bled out, the Demon Hunter simply left her there to die. Perhaps it was Elune's Grace that saved the young Kaldorei, but a scouting Druid of the Talon came not long after, finding the dying Kaldorei. The bird soars down to Mava, morphing into a male figure and proceeded to provide enough restoration to save the elf from death's embrace.

Needless to say, she spend months recovering from the near-fatal wound, and her training for becoming a Warden was denied. Depression taking her from the failure, she proceeded to follow out her duties without any other significant impacts on her life. Come the Third War, she was among Maiev's task-force to hunt down Illidan, traveling throughout the Echo Isles and Lordaeron. However, finding Maiev's deceiving of Furion's love for the Priestess of the Moon, she did not follow her Warden Commander into the portal to Outland. Instead, she simply returned to her homelands, acting as a vigilante to defend the forests from intruders. She did not bother to return to her father, knowing that she has failed in her duty as a Watcher, simply attempting to redeem herself in her own eyes by doing the only action she knows to do. Protect and serve.
