History

Maenor Autumshield was born in the year -14 to his parents Sathaen and Celharise Autumshield. His father, Sathaen worked at a local school in Silvermoon as a teacher of the arts while his mother worked at a local tavern as a barkeep. When he first began is his education as a young elf, you could see how much he loved it. He loved learning new ideas and learning how to complete tasks with the education he would learn daily. As he grew he continued to learn but he did set time aside for his friends. Though balancing education and social can be hard at times, he did manage to make time for it. He would often read books, become infatuated with his books, often reading them twice. When he was 18, and was able to exit regular school, he wished to learn more.

He set out to travel to Dalaran in search of more knowledge. While at Dalaran studying Philosophy, he heard a rumor Quel'thalas being attacked by Orcs and quickly traveled back to Silvermoon. Upon returning he saw the devastation of the Orcs created and was in shock. Maenor began looking into the situation and wished to understand why someone would do such a thing. He began to look into psychology as a means to understand why some people do such things. Maenor spent the next three years studying psychology before leaving the school and enrolling in a well known Mage college for the Arcane arts. Here he spent the next 11 years, learning much about magical theory and how to perform such magic. Though his is not very skilled he knows much about the topic of magic.

Meanor's studies were cut short when the Scourge destroyed Silvermoon. Maenor was forced to flee the city, leaving behind the things he held closest to him, his parents and his books. When the smoke cleared many had been killed and luckily, Maenor wasn't one of them. Both of his parents had been cut down in the crossfire and the college he attended had been burned to the ground. His life had crumbled around him and he felt alone in the world.

Maenor began to travel around to various colleges within Azeroth, he began to study Philosophy on Life and death. He put all of his time into studying and began to become obsessed with it. He also took notice of his changing eyes and appearance but only wrote them off as effects of his studies. He lived this life for 2 years before finally wanting to get his life back on track. He enrolled in a mage college that had recently reopened in Silvermoon. He spent less of his time studying but he continued to hold his education as his main priority. Improving his social skills which had diminished over the course of four years, Maenor had finally regained his former self. After three years of studying Maenor left the college to pursue other studies.

Soon after leaving the college he heard about a city, built by a strange race of large blue colored people. He became very curious and traveled to Shattrath city where he met an elderly Draenei named Cemrallus. He told Cemrallus that he came to Shattrath seeking knowledge and he wanted to learn about the Draenei culture and language. Cemrallus respected the his reasons for coming and agreed to teach him so long as he was dedicated as it would take time. He explained that he was willing to take the time to learn everything he could about their way of life and for the next four years he learned to speak Draenei (Though it is not to good) and now knew much about their culture. Maenor thanked his friend and mentor Cemrallus before returning to Azeroth to continue his quest for knowledge.
