Her armor is grey in color, and its slightly battered by no since it used by a few years. It is however in a good state, offering the needed protection Lanaya needs.

Other: Her face is angular, her cheekbones high and her eyes a bit sharp.

Her lips are small, when she smiles, it is usually just a small movement to the side. Theres little difference between her smirk and her smile, apart from when she smiles it forms crinkles around her eyes, whereas when she smirks, it doesn't.

Her nose is also small, making Lanaya's face have a soft look about it, if it wasn't for the scars adorning her face. The most visible one being an old scar which runs down from the left side of her forehead, passes by the corner of her eye and ends by her nose, it seems like it was quite the scar. It has been healed, and now only a mark, slightly darker than her skin is visible.

Additionally, theres three similar marks on her right cheek, its still a reddened scar, which may sign the fact it's isn't too old.

Her eyebrows are actually smaller than the model shows, its actually half of what the model represents, to be precise. Her ears are what the model shows.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral Lawful.

Lanaya is an elven woman whos personality was built by the various turns of events on her life. She has learned how to treat each race with at least proper respect, hardly insulting them outright. Her views tends to differ from individual to individual, rather than race to race.

The only thing she considers it to be a race as a whole, would be the unfairness of humans, and for that she tends to be very distrustful on them, unless she sees someone as interesting or valuable enough.

She's also quite easily amused by simple things, magicians for example can easily get the woman amused, despite her kind having great mages and such. Another thing which is quite unusual, is the fact that Lanaya is obsessed with the color black, because to her, it represents something which is yet to be filled, like a blank vacuum. Secondly, she's also quite amused by scorpions, strangely enough, and even represents it on her own body.

Lastly, Lanaya is an enclosed person, she refuses to interact with people too much, sometimes making a conversation which could last for hours last only a few minutes. Unless the finds someone interesting enough to leave her own shell and pursue a long conversation with someone.

History

She was born in a small farm southeast of Silvermoon city. The farm was owned by her family, a rather decent and prosper family, monetary wise, at least. Her father was a simple man, a footman and soldier for her kind, as well as a farmer himself. He was the one who brought the most income to their little house, by producing apples and selling them to the various merchants in quel'thalas.

Since young, Lanaya's mother, Dyiera Embersun, taught her daughter how to work with jewelry, nothing too intricate or complex since she was still too young. All the while, Lanaya also started to study simple things an elven child would learn. Her father wanted her to become a magi, but the girl showed little interest in magic, she was actually more interested in a blade. She always played about with a stick, using it as it was a blade, until she was old enough to be gifted a wooden sword.

Since then, the girl practiced her moves with the wooden sword, always acting like she was the greatest warrior of her kind, a hero defending her entire nation's citizen, she was a quite happy child, a simple yet full of excitement life. When she was old enough to buy her own clothing and such, the girl had an odd taste in the color choice of her clothing, always picking black or more grayish colors instead of the usual blue the quel'dorei favored.

Her parents didn't pay too much attention to those little details, after all it was just clothing. As Lanaya became older, she started to practice with a real sword, and quickly showed great prowess and skill with her sword of choice, a straight katana. It was a blade which made Lanaya use the best of her agility. With the start of her training, Lanaya also started to exercise herself way more often than before, aiming to build stamina and enough strength to wear armor.

By the time the Second War came, and the elves started to aid the humans with the war against the orcs, Lanaya wasn't capable fighter yet, and decided to remain within her city, continuing her training. However, her father, Aenthil Embersun, was sent as a frontline soldier, the man being a warrior after all.

Lanaya herself had visited the human kingdom. She spent some of her time in there, and had met quite a few human friends during it. She was rather interested in the human culture, finding them to differ a lot from her own culture, the many and never ending different individuals. Her opinion about the humans was changed by this short visit to their kingdom, she had just realized a race couldn't be the same, and each individual of said race would have a different personality and way to act.

The youngling elf had then returned to her home and was quite nervous, she knew what war was by that time, and was quite worried about her father. Her mother however was confident, she was sure her husband was a tough man and a great warrior. The confidence was destroyed once the Second War ended and the elves started to return to their home, and instead of Aenthil, a message explaining the fact he had been killed arrived their farm.

All of Aenthil's belongings were given to his rightfully wife, Lanaya's mother, who gave up on her jewelcrafting to take care of his farm and their production of apples, she was nowhere as skilled as he was, since she only had learned the basics from the man. The times became rather tough for Lanaya and her mother, the income lowered drastically and the only option they had was to sell the farm. With the money, Lanaya's mother bought her own shop, a jewelcrafting shop.

They both were uncomfortable with that thought, however, selling practically the only thing Aenthil left for them. It was needed, though. The jewelcrafting shop, owned by Lanaya's mother, managed to provide them with a good life. Lanaya herself found a new job, and used her money to pay for private training lessons, slowly turning into a skilled warrior.

Shortly after, the ravaging Scourge had arrived their lands, laying waste on Silvermoon and destroying the Sunwell. Lanaya was lucky enough to get out of it alive, however, she had quite an encounter with a ghoul. She fought it with all her previously learned abilities, and managing to best the creature, at the cost of getting a claw mark scar over her cheek. Her mother sadly didn't have the same luck, and ended up dying in the incident.

This turn of event changed Lanaya quite drastically, she became more enclosed and less of an always happy and friendly person. She had fled with the other elves, staying away from her city for a while.

When the elves had finally returned to Silvermoon, and had to absorb demonic energy to stop their arcane addiction, Lanaya was terribly displeased and discontent with it. She was now a different thing than she was previously, her entire kind was something different to her now. To her, not only she had lost many of her elven friends due to the Scourge, but now she had lost her few human friends, too.

When the Sunwell was restored and the once High Elves, now Blood Elves joined the Horde, Lanaya had traveled to the Horde lands, being curious about how it would be. She was slightly displeased by the orcs, always having heard that they were brutes, berserks and raging beasts. Once she had arrived in Durotar, she had an encounter with a strange creature, a scorpid. Lanaya actually became perplexed and strangely obsessed by the different creature, finding it's 'look' to be quite complex and amusing.

Once in Orgrimmar, she had quite a few strange looks from the orcs and the other inhabitants of the said city, quickly finding several racist insults thrown at her. This made her disappointed by the new faction, but she also had met orcs who proved themselves to be full of wisdom and knowledge, which made her think about the orcs the same way she had thought about humans.

She returned to Silvermoon shortly after, and found a rather crazed elf who made permanent 'drawings' on ones body, a tattooist. Lanaya had quite some money, since she had sold her mother's jewelcrafting shop, not being skilled enough with jewelry to work at it, and used some part of that money to pay the elf to make a tattoo on her back.

She was content with the results, even though every elf which had the opportunity to see said tattoo questioned her about it, she didn't quite cared and moved on with her life. Now, Lanaya has been travelling to different places, finding herself on a sort of wanderlust.
