Personality

Alignment: Neutral

Krymua is a lovely young lady who has a charismatic smile and an amazing ability to convince others! As a merchant, Krymua's fueled by charisma; she knows how to compliment someone, how to act so friendly that they buy something from her merely because of her rather than the product itself - and this is not purely acting, actually. Krymua is a very friendly person, one that has learned how to treat the different races of Azeroth, even.

Outside of the 'merchant' view, Krymua can be a pleasant person! She's a bit... different than the average draenei, as her time with the goblins did change the young draenei's personality. For one, she tends to talk openly about whatever comes to mind, not being afraid to express her opinion at all and even has a bit of a careless vocabulary, certain unwanted words escaping her here and there. Still, she remains with her kind's culture in her, believing in the Light, having in hope in the army of Light the Naaru spoke about, and she tries her best to act as an average draenei when close to another draenei -- though most of the time, she just looks plain awkward.

When it comes to other races, she does holds a grudge against orcs and blood elves, but she's capable of hiding it well enough to the point that it looks that she's simply indifferent.

While young, Krymua isn't naive, and neither silly. Rather, she's actually intelligent, creative and a bit of a 'smart ass', able of quick reasoning and even a peculiar ability to read people, knowing what intention they may have - of course, this varies from how obvious or blatant one is. She's also a bit... greedy! Krymua would likely even sells herself -- as a mercenary, as long as she got paid, of course. Luxury speaks a high price in her mind, and she wouldn't mind doing a trick or two to get some extra money, if such is needed.

History

Krymua's story starts back at the great Oshu'gun, the spaceship provided by the Naaru which aided her kind flee. A celebration was given as a warm welcome to the newly born draenei infant.

At the start of her childhood, the unusually active Krymua took a peculiar interest in engineering. It was watching her father tinker with strange glowing crystals in a random night that brought the young child's interest in engineering and tinkering. The bright, glowing parts, the crystals - what they formed, how everything went neatly together. It fascinated the young girl, and the interest wasn't ignored, as her father gave her some tips, even taught her a bit of this and that for the following years. And as time passed, Krymua grew like any young child would and of course, her knowledge on engineering grew as well, from what was just a small pass-time thing to something actually serious; she was putting quite the effort into it. That surprised her father, who actually only did that out of a hobbie, he never expected his daughter to go deeper with tinkering, but he didn't object, at all.

And with effort, results soon started to show. Krymua found out that she could be rather creative - or innovative, even. She managed to create something completely new - even if probably useless, with merely eighteen years. It was just a rather strange device which responded to sound vibration, producing different colored lights based off the intensity and volume of a sound near it. She still has this device, using it as decoration and something to remember her of her childhood - and what brought her to what she is today.

Kryamu became older - even though she didn't mature much in terms of personality, remaining a hasty, playful being. And due to that, she thought of herself unfit to wield the Light, and only learned about it in theory - but in order to have some combat proficiency, Krymua decided to learn Arcane, which just like technology, was something that always fascinated her.

The one who taught her was a draenei arch mage - powerful of course, with several millennia of training and knowledge. He wanted to take the training slow, but it was practically impossible, given the youngling's constant bickering, always justifying her requests for a faster training with: "Think of it in this way; taking it slow means I will become a powerful mage in a very long while. Now, if you train me faster, without taking it slow, I will soon become powerful - not as much as you, but I will continue training, I will work on my own spells, and all the time I'd waste learning, will turn into productive training!"

As experienced as the arch mage was, he found himself... Convinced by the charming and charismatic soul the youngling had. And surprising, Krymua showed prowess with the arcane. She certainly had a knack for it, as she learned pretty swiftly whatever was taught to her! In the few next years, Krymua could already call herself a mage - even though her training was far from done. Sadly, however, her training was put on hold as the Oshu'gun arrived in yet another unknown planet: Draenor.

Krymua found the planet peaceful. For once, she didn't gave thought about the Legion a single time in there. Trading routes were settled with the nearby neighbors, the orcs. A strange, different kind which Krymua was amused by, more specifically their culture. Krymua found the trading routes which were established with them amusing as well, even making sure to keep in mind a bit of this and that... Perhaps trading could end up useful, after all. In order to get in contact with the orcs, she tried to communicate with them. It was difficult, not understanding a single word, at all; but soon she started to get bits of this and that, putting them together. After a small period of time, communicating went from impossible to difficult, but still possible as the young draenei would often spend long periods of time trying to understand the meaning of every orcish word.

Sadly, peace didn't last as long as Krymua wished for. Corrupted, the orcs attacked the unprepared Draenei, slaughtering them. Bloodshed and horror; it was unbelievable, Krymua's tear filled eyes could hardly gaze upon the various dead bodies. A plethora of emotions and thoughts ran through her mind, and she simply froze upon the battlefield, being completely defenseless - and she would've likely died if an axe aimed to cleave through her wasn't stopped by a crystal hammer, which bashed the orc wielding it right into the face. The valiant words echoed through her mind, yelling for her to flee with the others; bringing her from her broken state of mind back into reality.

Krymua ran as much as she could with the young Vindicator who had just saved her life. Together with the rest of her kind, they fled to the Tempest Keep, stealing the Exodar from the blood elves in order to flee once again. Unknown to the Draenei, however, it was sabotaged, which led it to crash in yet another planet: Azeroth. The attack from orcs had left little of the draenei left, and the crash took yet more lives, including Krymua's master, the Arch mage, and the young valiant soul who had saved her from a most certain demise.

The young mage had survived, and she was glad that her parents did as well. She needed them in a moment like this, after all, she had just found out about the death of her friends, even her master. The crash had made her re-think things a bit. The childish young mind matured, Kyra even became depressed. The many lost friends, her master... that young draenei. They were all dead. Gone. She questioned why she survived, and what purpose was she supposed to serve now.

Having no idea of what she could do to help, Krymua decided to explore; her first contact with an Azerothian race was with the night elves, and it was pretty awkward, as she tried to communicate in both draenic and what little orcish she knew. It was obvious that no one knew what she was trying to say - well, they didn't even knew what she was, but thankfully, a night elf who seemingly understood the awkward orcish Krymua spoke helped her, and Kyra managed to get a trade, offering an engineering device in exchange of food and water, and while proud of herself, she had no idea that it was merely out of pity from the night elf. She took the supplies back, and even managed a few trades with her own kind, receiving the crystals she used so much in her engineering in return.

Time would pass, and the Draenei kind would slowly recover. Krymua learnt common quickly enough, even if her accent influenced it so heavily. Deciding to explore the world, her first target was Stormwind once her kind allied with the Alliance. The first few days were extremely strange. She always received odd glances and looks, as if she didn't belong there, at all. The humans were still getting used to her kind, and so was she, herself, trying to get used to them. For a few days, she'd simply sit somewhere in Stormwind and watch as people talked and interacted... sometimes she would walk to the gates, everything was interesting to the young Draenei - and something that caught her interest much more, one day, was a caravan filled with goods, belonging to a human.

She questioned about it, and the human who was skeptical at first, allowed her to go with him after being convinced; her charisma once again put to use. She had no idea of where the destination was, but it would take long to arrive there, so long that she filled the poor human with questions, asking about the most varying things. His work, the Alliance, the Horde, other races and much more, making a large part of her confusion about this world go away - and soon enough, the two would arrive in a goblin settlement, Booty Bay. She was rather amused by the little green things and how they acted, and more specifically how trading here was exceptionally... well done in this odd place. The human offered to bring her back, but she asked to stay, and as a partying gift, the human tossed a shiny gold coin at her. She knew well enough in order to know how much it was worth. Thanking him, Krymua decidedly stood at the inn for the remaining days.

She would merely observe, watch quietly from a random seat. She analyzed how everyone acted, the different races which would visit this odd place - everything was amusing and interesting, with hardly any exception. And at the end of the day, she'd order something simple to drink and eat, and then rent a room to spend the night. This repeated itself for a week before Kryamu finally decided to try something: Selling her draenic engineering devices. It... went extremely well. Certainly better than what the little youngling expected! She made quite the coin... but it didn't went unnoticed by the goblins. The innkeeper together with a few bruisers approached her, and he didn't look pleased that a 'purple lookin' talkin' goat' was selling things in his town - and threatened to kick her out of the town, and have the bruiser beat her up. However, the little tricky being managed to... well, convince the goblin otherwise. Using the information she had absorbed for the week, together with her charisma and some talk, she asked permission to sell in goblin towns as long as part of what she received would be paid to the goblins - or rather, the organization known as Steamwheedle Cartel.

The 'deal' was made, and a loose affiliation with the Organization was established. Krymua used this nicely, there were certain days that she would make incredible amounts of coin, but most of it was spend with new supplies as well as luxury that she thought she needed. She bought a house in Stormwind, even - and she was confident that she'd continue receiving so much money... except it wasn't like that. Her kind's technology became less unique and rare, and she couldn't charge so high for it anymore. Income lowered, and she decided to move on, finally.

With the goblins, she had learned a bit of Azerothian engineering, but it was visiting Ironforge that Krymua learned something which changed her drastically! A peculiar, small-sized individual explained her that arcane and technology together produces interesting results once he learned that she had knowledge on both. Sadly, before she could inquire, the little thing had already disappeared, leaving the Draenei intrigued. Intrigued enough that the Draenei spent a good part of her savings with parts and other needed engineering objects in order to spend the remaining days trying to put both arcane and technology together, and as likely expected, the creative draenei managed to do pretty well, even designing imprints of her own for devices that she has been tinkering and developing, selling them to keep her purse filled.

Today, Krymua is an aspiring techno-mage, using an arcane imbued gun as her weapon of choice, as well as her intelligence. She's not much of a fighter, though, and for that, she prefers to remain within the safety of a settlement... though that's not to say she dislikes traveling, as she's often moving from a town to another, either to trade or simply to enjoy a different air.
