Appearance

Identical twin: Kiandel's facial appearance and structural build looks exactly like that of his twin brother Maieath. The only difference shared comes down to a few style choices. Kiandel has three silver rings adorning his left ear and black dragon tattoos along his arms.

Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral.

A mirror to his twin brother Maieath, Kiandel is always up to no good. He feels as though his undeath has brought about a curse of eternal boredom. At times his thoughts work in tandem with that of his twin brother. They will either complete each other's sentences or say the same thing at the same time. This does not mean they are without conflict. Kiandel will frequently engage in a simple argument with Maieath over nearly anything, even in most cases they are both wrong.

When he has an opinion, he is not one to back down. He is usually the voice for himself and his quieter brother Maieath. He has kept many of his headstrong characteristics from life, even if they are used for various things. When bored, which is near all the time, he will begin trying to induce fear into whoever happens to cross his path. He is far more unpleasant than his brother.

Skills and Abilities

Blood worms: His veins run with live blood worms. He will try to afflict living creatures with the parasite if bored enough. They are his main method of spreading Blood Plague.

Vampiric blood: His time spent studying blood runes has given him insight on how to tap into a living creature's blood and grant himself an extra boost, temporarily sating his hunger.

Twin Synchronization: When in combat with Maieath, the two share a bond only known to twins. They work together in a fight, never alone, their attacks mirroring that of the other.

History

Born only minutes after his twin brother Maieath, Kiandel was born to an upper-middle class family. Their parents both employed to the magistry, work in the arcane was embedded in their life style. Kiandel and Maieath spent countless hours of the day studying away to learn the ways of the arcane. When they were in their thirties, their parents had another child, this time a girl. They boys were highly protective of the tiny girl, making sure she was not harmed in any way.

Kiandel spent little time away from his kin, especially his twin brother. Him and Maieath had done everything together from eating meals and studying, to traveling out of Eversong to continue their works in Dalaran. They spent years together within the vast libraries studying the various types of spells. Kiandel had taken great interest in fire spells during this time, finding the life fire had to be more amusing than the dull ice his brother had taken up. In time they had made their way back to Eversong.

Upon their return, the Scourge had devastated their home, their family narrowly escaping. Angered at nearly losing their family, Kiandel had vowed to remove the Scourge from the face of Azeroth. In the meantime, he had stayed with his family to help rebuild the city. The loss of the Sunwell quickly began tearing at him. His addiction to the arcane was too strong. Once it was available, he and his brother took in fel to fight off the pains of going cold turkey on arcane. Now empowered by the fel, he took with his brother to the Western Plaguelands to fight the Scourge. They put up a fight for quite some time. They met their ends, however, when a ghoul ran the two through with a polearm. Kiandel died minutes before his older brother.

The fresh kill made them ideal specimens for becoming Death Knights. Within days of dying, they were raised by the same Lich. They took to their new abilities quickly, Kiandel focusing on the runic magic of blood. They fought through minor battles before preparing for the battle at Light's Hope. Not long after their attack on the Chapel, the words of the Lich King slowly started to leave Kiandel's mind. Instead, he had the beginnings of reconnecting the bond he had shared with his brother. Now greatly bored by the Lich King's objectives, they aided in the taking of Acherus and quickly allied themselves with the Ebon Blade when it was established. Now with the Lich King gone Kiandel does as he has done before, spending countless hours in his twin's presence and trying to overcome his eternal boredom.
