Character In-Game Name: Irsha

Nickname(s): Irsh, Sha, Man (she was considered, before too, more of a man than a woman; she likes it)

Association(s): The Horde

Other than that, she is skilled in reading footprints, and she can use her impressive height and muscles to either taunt or intimidate. To top it, she has learned a basic understanding of wolf behavior.

She also has some unique advantages for being a grunt, alike the ability to intimidate by giving warnings of telling superiors, or calling of other guards to help.

Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Irsha, despite not being born on Draenor, likes to adorn pro-Horde clothing and ornaments. Her gauntlets, for example, each have the symbol of the Horde on the back of their hands. From under her single shoulderpad, which lays on her right shoulder, there falls a wolf skin, going down, across her upper chest, to cover her left arm down to her elbow. Similar to this, there is another wolf skin, tied to her belt, which hides her right thigh, down to above her knee. Furthermore, she also wears a red mask when races that are not orcs, tauren or trolls are about. Seeing as she prefers agility over strength, she likes to wear light material: cloth, leather and even mail, though rare.

Other: She has two earrings, each in one ear, quite big and round, along other pierces. She also likes to occasionally adorn a nose ring.

Personality

Hard-and-pig-headed, straight-forward, brash, impatient and short sighted and tempered young orc; adjectives that best describe Irsha's personality, which is alike Grom's. She always sticks out, speaking her mind with little sign of ever filtering her thoughts, or her tone. Furthermore, her point of view is both absolute and obsolete. She believes, with all of her heart, in the things she's been taught: orcs are honorable, strong, true warriors, fighting with savagery, fire in their eyes and heart, for the spirits; the humans, and their precious Alliance, are our enemy, they deserve nothing but death and torture, and so do all of their allies.

To the other Horde races, she is somewhat wary. While trolls and some tauren are on her liking --though not all-- forsaken and blood elves are outright disliked, greatly, for their former allegiance with the Alliance. As for the Alliance races, she especially hates, loathes and abhors humans, having grown up in an interment camp, being starved off by them. As for dwarves, gnomes, night elves and draenei, Irsha's disliking has grown, over the years, but only due to the fact that they are Alliance.

History

Ever since she was born, in Hammerfall, in the Arathi Highlands, to a daughter of Mahen'Tosh, Irsha has had to grow up used to the lethargy and pain of her people. Not long after her birth, however, Mahen was moved to another camp and Irsha was left with her mother only, her father having died even before the orcs were imprisoned. Life was, as expected, devoid of any hope or will to live.

To make things worse, at her very birthday of age two, her mother died of malnutrition, having had to take care of her baby so far. The young Irsha, who was now able to walk and eat real food, cried for days, and her appetite fell as well. For now, her only motive to eat was not to survive, but not to die. And so, her life went on, until the age of ten.

A week or so after her birthday, a new group of orcs was brought into Hammerfall, tall and burly, obviously having been well fed until then, though bruised and beaten up. It was hard for them to fit in with their weakened brethren, but even so, their very leader saw Irsha's state and decided to take care of her. He approached her with a confident smirk on his lips and a glint in his eyes: "Why are you crying, little girl?", he asked, in orcish. At that, the young girl simply looked up at him and stared, with eyes not showing any trace of feeling towards him, despite trails of tears clearly on her cheeks. The male's lips settled, and his brows furrowed. "Have you not learned orcish yet, lass?", he then asked, in common, at which Irsha simply and slowly shook her head. He bent over and gently grabbed the youngling's chin, raising it up for a second, before looking on either parts of her cheeks. Afterwards, he released her chin and slowly pat her left cheek, after which he raised to his feet and looked to the blue skies, a smirk reappearing on his lips. "C'mon, kid. Tomorrow's gonna be a honorable day; I can feel it.", the orc continued, with confidence in his tone.

The next day brought little, however. The mundane activities continued, with the exception of one: the new, leader orc befriended the young and defenseless Irsha; a friendship that would last for a long time. By each passing day, their relationship would strengthen, and Irsha's will of life would slowly return.

Time passed and, eventually, hope itself came to Hammerfall. Thrall, Orgrim Doomhammer and Grom Hellscream have formed another Horde, and have set on a 'crusade' to free the imprisoned orcs. And now, Hammerfall was next. The human defenders, their numbers having been drastically reduced because of the lack of need, have suffered a nasty defeat: an infighting occurred hours after the orcs have heard their brethren's drum from out of the walls, and the humans were soon overwhelmed from two fronts; from the within, and the outside. Irsha, along most others, survived the battle and joined the Horde right away.

Two years followed, devoid of any major events for the Horde, which has drastically gotten over her lethargy. In this time span, Irsha has had the opportunity of meeting another influential orc of her history: Gok'tar Wolfson, who was freed from the internment camp he was in even before Irsha was. The orc from before and Gok'tar were Irsha's family now, though it is unclear if they ever knew each other. While the unnamed orc taught the young Irsha how to fight and told her stories of how the orcs were, giving her an education that most would consider wrong, Gok'tar was teaching her the skills of survival: reading tracks and, most importantly, a basic understanding of animal --especially wolf-- behavior.

After the two most uneventful years passed, it was time for the Horde to sail across the sea, to the distant lands of Kalimdor, of which the new Warchief strangely knew. Thrall ordered all of the orcs to follow him and board a fleet of human vessels. On the way to the other, unknown of continent, the orcish warriors were forced to stop on a few islands, where they befriended the local trolls. A certain one made sure to approach Irsha, probably interested in a youngling's behavior. It was Jozz, a witch doctor of the Darkspear. After his interest was sated, however, he departed, and soon enough, so did the Horde; they have left the isles without letting Irsha know the details of what has happened, though it was clear that there were many battles.

Irsha has reached the continent known as Kalimdor with the Warsong Clan, along with her trainer and Gok'tar too. Here, the events would be many, and the young orc would be following the two males everywhere; her trainer made sure of that, and of the fact that she sees first-hand how battles are fought, and how bad the world is. The meeting with the humans, who seemed to have followed the orcs, south of Ashenvale, only fueled the teachings of Irsha's trainer, and her hate for the pinkskins.

Soon enough, the group of orcs Irsha took place of journeyed north, to the forests of Ashenvale. One of her adoptive fathers, however, did not join: Gok'tar chose to follow Thrall, instead of Grom and his clan. Irsha's lessons did not end, however: the night elves attacked, over and over again, and Irsha was forced to see her brethren being killed, at first one by one, ambushed from the trees. This only put wood on the fire that her hate was. But there, in the bowels of Ashenvale, they orcs have found a fount of power, and most drank from it. The thirteen year old Irsha, however, did not; she was hidden in a tent, only peering outside to see her brethren, fueled by demonic rage, wander about. Soon enough, the night elven demigod was killed, by Grom himself, and the evil plot set by Mannoroth was unveiled. Irsha had nothing to do but be forced, by her own brethren, to down the foul blood, despite her age. The adolescent orc entered a rage never encountered before, and she felt truly powerful, as never again. She liked it, she loved it, she adored it!

She hasn't done many in this time, though, being still a teen. She mostly stayed around the camps and trained --the lessons were much harsher and harder. Not long after, fortunately, Thrall's forces attacked the chaos orcs and, after many battles, Grom was captured. In no time, he, having been cleansed, killed Mannoroth and lifted the curse from the other orcs. Irsha was free again!

But there was no time for the orcs to celebrate! The battle of the World Tree soon came, and Irsha, along with Gok'tar, her trainer and the rest of the Horde hurried to aid the night elves and the humans in slowing down the undead and demonic forces. The battles were harsh, and Irsha saw most of it all; even humans leaving injured orcs, who obviously needed help, unattended. Fortunately, even though the Horde's base was defeated, most of the orcs managed to escape.

By the time of Orgrimmar's founding and years following, when Irsha was still growing up, yet to be dubbed an adult, she mostly trained with her master, in order to gain quite the strength she now possesses. The events of the year 25 were barely any. Irsha, of eighteen years old, even though she refused taking an honorary om'riggor yet, worked mostly as either a worker or a mercenary for the races of the Horde or goblins. Next year, though, the Dark Portal was opened again! Irsha, along with her master and Gok'tar, traveled through the Hellfire Peninsula, a "spirit-ridden barren land", and through the Terrokar Forest, directly to Nagrand, where Irsha finally took her om'riggor. Now she was, officially, an adult, grown-up orc and she could be recruited into the guards, and so she certainly did.

In that year and the next, up until now, Irsha has been doing nothing than work as a grunt, protecting peons or waking them up when they take a lazy pause, as well as random mercenary work.
