How did the family rise to nobility?
The family rose to nobility through heavy military service, a long line of officers, which were eventually knighted after a large, successful battle in the Troll Wars. The Godford knights eventually became a minor noble family when they began buying land around their manor.
How does the family sustain its wealth?
Since it has little no to current assets, the family sustains its wealth through the high pay given to Dalikan for his service, as well as the occasional spoils of war.
What sort of assets does the family have?
The Godford House has no current assets other than a small manor (really just a big house with no grounds) in Stormwind proper. It has a small guard force, but they're barely less than fifteen in their numbers.
What is the family known for?
House Godford is known for producing tactful officers and strong-willed knights that lead men into victory or defeat with resolve. Occasionally they have been known for producing clerics of some kind or another.
How old is the family?
The family has been actual nobility for a few generations, but has been a family of knights since the Troll Wars.
Is the family open for members to join?
It's open for members. Dalikan could have cousins and such that survived the Third War, or uncles/aunts. Also, he has a second daughter that needs to be recreated.
