Personality

Dru’tah is loyal to the Horde but prefers to stay alone, due to her mistrust of most races and the distrust she gained when she turned to the Arcane instead of Shamanism, like most of her kin. Amongst her own kind she keeps her Arcane hidden, fearing reprisal of her kind. Should she need it she is not afraid to use it. She harbors a hatred for the Legion and humans, seeing the other races of the Alliance as a nuisance rather than enemies or allies. She is often rather impulsive and doesn’t always think things through. She can be patient but only to those who have proven themselves a warrior to her. She always honors a warrior’s promise, be it a one made by her or one by another. Dru’tah is loyal to the Horde and loyal to the Kirin Tor, which can lead her to be conflicted on who to help, should the two get in conflict with one another.

History

She was born on Azeroth, about a year after her parents went through the Dark portal as the daughter to two warlocks. As an Azeroth born Orc, Dru’tah did not get a chance to drink the blood of Manoroth.

Once the First War was over, her parents took Dru’tah back to safe lands to start training her in the ways of the Fel and the art of the sword. She started off rather clumsily but excelled after a few years of pure, hard training.

By the time the Second War started her father went to the front, Dru’tah wanted to join him but her father forbade her from coming along. She stayed behind under her mother’s guidance, continuing her practice with sword and Fel.

When the Second war came to a close and the humans started invading Orc lands, Dru’tah and her mother fled to the mountains of Alterac Valley. In these hard and rugged lands Dru’tah learned to take care of herself and warm herself. In these times, Dru’tah’s mother became sick and met an honourless end, leaving Dru’tah with nothing but her own sword.

When Thrall assembled the Horde she joined him and his army without hesitation. Dru’tah’s team worked in the Alterac Valley, freeing the internment camps. In the first internment camp her team freed she found her father, weak and naught but a shadow of this once proud and strong warrior. Dru’tah was happy yet disgusted when she saw her father again, giving him a tight hug and taking him back with her to the main camp where he was fed, clothed and prepared for the next fight. Dru’tah never spoke of her mother’s fate, wanting her father to stay happy. Then it happened, the Orcs rose against the humans and Dru’tah joined, again without hesitation, this time side by side with her father. Dru’tah and her father joined the Orcs on their way to Kalimdor, the supposedly safe lands.

Having arrived on these new and strange lands, Dru’tah and her father quickly found Thrall and his party. They joined up with Thrall. Eventually she lead a small scouting party, consisting of five members, including her father. They found a small group of humans and did not engage them, in fact, the humans attacked Dru’tah and her group. Dru’tah lunged forward, killing of one of the humans with a Shadowbolt and another one with her sword. This impulsive act got Dru’tah a sword in the back, almost losing her life if it wasn’t for the rest of her group.

Her father brought Dru’tah to a Tauren camp where they bandaged her up, the best they could do at this point. Dru’tah was on bed rest for the rest of the war due to her father’s fear that the wound would burst open. Her father brought her books to kill the time. At first Dru’tah refused to read them and just wanted to return to the fight. Her father forbade her and often used force to keep her in bed. After a while Dru’tah gave up the useless struggle and she started reading the books her father brought her.

The woman became fascinated by the Arcane and read the Fel corrupted, though at first she did not believe it. Then she realized what the Burning Legion did to her kin, they turned the once peaceful Orcs into raging beasts. She started to believe the Arcane could save her from this corruption. She decided to study it some more, eventually leading her to Dalaran. Dru’tah quickly found a mentor and left the Fel behind her, starting to work with the Arcane instead. She met a few Orcs during her studies in Dalaran, most of whom gave her dirty looks for doing what she did.

Because of the mistrust she gained by many for what she was she often locked herself in her room with books, reading up on what she could. After a while most people started calling her a lone wolf. Only her mentor kept calling her Dru’tah but still jested about her nickname. Dru’tah eventually took the nickname and turned it into her surname, Lonewolf.

With Deathwing having shattered the world, Dru’tah has decided to travel, helping her kin and the Horde where she can.
