History

Aulton Loredon was born into a farmers family in the hills of Tristfal glades. He had a very loving family, he had two brothers Brighton and James and two caring parents Liandren and Mary. His brothers were twins at the age of seventeen, his mother and father were around thirty two when he was born. Aulton grew up having many advantages in life his family had a thriving farm he was athletic, smart and talented in many things he did. By the time Aulton was twelve years old his brothers were old enough to enlist in Lordaeron's great army. His parents and he himself were very pleased at their decision to do so. Brighton and James said their good byes and on a chilly fall morning they set off to the great kingdom of Lordaeron to begin their training.

About three months after Brighton and James left home strange things started to happen around the farm, animals who seemed healthy as could be were suddenly dieing, crops were withering at tremendous rates, that is when Aulton saw his first undead. This strange creature was lurking in the tree line just out side of their property, Aulton had never seen anything like it in his young life. He ran back to his house shouting for his father, when Liadren heard his sons cries he ran from their small home and laid his eyes on the forsaken thing that was now chasing after Aulton at full speed.

His father instructed him to go inside and hide with his mother, Aulton did as he was told he grabbed his mothers wrist and pulled at her so she would join him in the cellar. They could hear rustling and shouting coming from outside, they then heard a blood wrenching yell. Aulton knew it was his father he ran up the steep cellar steps and to the window looking at what had just happened. The beast had killed his father and began devouring his remains, Aulton tried to hold in his pain, but he began to cry so loud that the monstrosity heard and looked up from his fathers now mangled corpse, it lunged at the door full force trying to get in. Aulton's mother had made her way up from the cellar she quickly ran to the window to see what had become of her beloved husband, she was horrified to see him laying on the ground with this guts ripped open, Aulton's mother began to cry and shake at the sight of her mangled partner, she slowly made her way towards Aulton hugging him.

They both believed that these were their last moments alive, the beast was near crushing the door they didn't have much time, when suddenly they heard a whinny over the sound of the undeads terrifying growls. Aulton made his way to the window and what he saw was an older paladin ridding atop his beautiful horse accompanied by his two brothers Brighton and James. Aulton could not believe his eyes he ran towards his mother grasping her tight and telling her it would be ok that they were saved, her cries slowed as he heard the three men screaming as they charged the monster that had killed her husband. A few moments later the beast was dead, The paladin entered the home first offering a hand to Aultons's distraught mother then Brighton and James entered both armor clad and strong looking, James quickly picked up Aulton in joy that he along with his mother had survived.

Aulton and his mother mounted with James and Brighton as they headed back to the castle, James explained to his mother that a plague has taken over the lands and what they had saw was once a human that was infected by the plague, Aulton listened carefully but he showed no emotion the death of his father was to great. Aulton and his mother spent a few months living inside the castles walls until one day Brighton and James came to their small one roomed house, they both spoke quickly telling his mother and Aulton to pack up because something had gone wrong and Arthas is going to Northrend to chase down the one who has caused the plague. They instructed Aulton and his mother that there was a caravan heading to Stormwind, and that they should be safer there until everything calmed down. Aulton and his mother did what they asked and started their walk to Stormwind on a rather cold day at the end of summer, it took them about three weeks to reach Stormwind and when they did they were greeted with open arms.

Aulton and his mother lived in Stormwind happily waiting for the return of Brighton and James, but one faithful day Aulton's mother Mary saw an armor clad soldier walk to their door she welcomed him but they both knew why he was there. He came bringing the news of her son's deaths, she was so overwhelmed that she went into a crying fit much like the day her husband was killed. She then made her way to Aulton and told him that she would never let anything like this happen to him, she swore that he would be stronger and ready for anything so that he could not be taken away as easily as her two sons and beloved husband had been.

Two weeks later just after Aulton's thirteenth birthday a paladin showed up he was very tall and muscular and as Aulton walked closer he felt calm and safe, his mother walk towards the man quickly whispering to him, the man nodded and looked down to Aulton, he looked down at the surprised young man and told him that he was going to come train in the Cathedral to be a paladin. Aulton was thrilled he grabbed his coat and then hugged his mother as tight as he could, Aulton looked up at the man asking his name the man replied "Straton Lightmaine" Aulton smiled and said his own name as manly as he could to try and imitate the strong paladin. Aulton lived and trained at the cathedral for about twelve years, the training was hard and long it tested every ounce of strength Aulton had in him, he was taught how to combat the evil forces of undead and other ghastly demons that inhabited their world.

Aulton came out the other side a paladin of Stormwind, he was a very quick learner making him easy to train and on the day when he accepted his armor that had been blessed by the high priestess his mother was there crying but not in sorrow or pain, in happiness that her only remaining family had become a bastion of light and hope for the human race itself showing that there is some good left in the world. Now Aulton still lives in Stormwind with his mother, they are both very happy and have both accepted the death of their family members and taken it as a blessing from the light, Aulton spends a lot of time helping the city with small things and caring for the orphans, his mother bakes for one of the many bakeries that is located in Stormwind. Although Aulton is happy he knows that one day he will return the the forsaken land and help cast out the monsters that took his home from him and bring peace to the remaining people of Lordaeron.
