History

Anrelle was born in Auberdine. She was raised mainly by her brother and his mate, as her mother often left for long periods of time without explanation. Regardless, Anrelle was a seemingly happy young child. Wanting to experience things on her own she took to hunting and visiting different parts of Darkshore and Ashenvale to study different plants and wildlife. Even at such a small age, she had a love for caring and tending to the others if they ever got hurt and was taught simple remedies. In this time, she had taken to become a part of the Sentinels, being noticed by locals of Auberdine. The more she knew though, the heavier it was on her mind and she started to become distant a lot, but always studied hard, inspired to be a Sentinel in hopes she could help her people, maybe even save some of them, and aide them in trials she was sure were in her future.

During her years of training in the Sentinels, Anrelle met Serithe and it was a feeling of total infatuation. For brief moments she would lose concentration and be seen with nothing but a blank gaze and a silly grin on her face. She had no idea what was going on, but she acted upon it, eventually reaching out to Serithe and sparking the fire that would burn for years to come. When the orcs started invading Ashenvale, that's when her innocent and untainted view on the world would begin to change drastically. Having been trained in stealth and reconnaissance, she was part of many scouting and ambush missions. Staying within the confines of Ashenvale she had accepted the life she developed as the norm.

Suddenly, the Burning Legion began attacking their lands and it seemed to immediately find her. Anrelle was forced into a dangerous and violent conflict in Hyjal. The memories of watching her kin being killed, and her beloved forests torn apart and burned would leave an extensive emotional toll that is still evident today. It was hard to understand the idea of new races and what "mortality" meant, but soon came to learn the latter when she found a young human amongst the turmoil. She felt conflicted about the little girl who clung to her leg, unsure where to take her. Eventually trying to return her to the humans, Anrelle saw that the child wanted nothing to do with them and the reason was completely beyond her and Serithe.

Spending so much time talking about what to do with her, they both decided to care for the child, each had their own reasons but Anrelle's reason was unconditional care and love for her. Over the course of the next year, Anrelle struggled to teach the child to effectively communicate and taught her Darnassian. This feeling of accomplishment trumped everything else Anrelle had ever done previously and it was only the beginning of their connection. Anrelle and Serithe came together and named the little girl Nali, seeing her as one of their own.

Taking note of Nali's position they decided to begin her training as a Sentinel. Unfortunately, after all their hard work and struggles, Nali was rejected simply for being human but this did not shut out all options for her. Regardless of where life took her, Anrelle knew she would be proud of Nali and watching her leave she could do nothing but give her all the love and support any mother could give their child.
