Personality

Due to the many spent fleeing through the galaxy, Allira has, over time, become a little more curious of the world around herself. She longs to understand the world philosophically, often with little success because she feels needed elsewhere.

During mostly the Draenei encounter with Orcs on Draenor, Allira has developed, like many more Draenei already have, a sense of patience. Combined with her adventurous nature, she usually greets almost anyone kindly before she gets to know them.

Above all, Allira is very charitable. After millenniums of depending on very close ones, like Nexariel and Vestalaan, she has seen that the Draenei and many others of the world are in need of much help. And so, a lot of her time is devoted to helping the welfare of others around herself.

History

Born to a couple during one of the visits to a foreign planet, Allira was raised, during the turbulent times of the fleeing from Argus and the Legion, with her twin sister Nexariel. Shortly after losing her mother, and father, she and Nexariel became one of the many Draenei children who were orphaned. The bond between them both lasted a lifetime, as they were rarely apart from each other throughout much of their lives. Together, they ‘rode out the tough times' and looked after each other as well.

As an orphan, she and her other 'brothers and sisters' were constantly taught the ways of the Holy Light. It was placed at the center of society at the time and was a subject that Allira would always hold close to her and her life. She viewed the Light with utmost importance, even as she began her training as a mage. Blending some aspects of thought and reason into the training of a mage, Allira quickly matured intellectually. A major reason for her quickly ‘picking up' the Light was a vindicator that her sister and her have both grown fond of: Vestalaan. Throughout the many centuries they were all together, Vestalaan grew to resemble a father-figure to her. To her, Allira's close relationship with both her sister and Vestalaan resembled a family. Allira enjoyed her new family and often came to them both with her troubles and offered her support for theirs.

Later in her years she spent as an orphan, she began to assist the caretakers there. Now a devout follower of the Light and a proficient mage for her age, Allira began to teach and train the children of the orphanage along with many other instructors. After some time of doing this, she was presented with the opportunity to use her knowledge of the arcane to protect others as one of the many peacekeepers. As a peacekeeper, Allira and her group faced the Legion many times. Her abilities as a mage were strained, often times. Because of these times, she constantly was vigorously seeking ways to better her abilities in order to help more efficiently. Naturally, losing several members of the group didn't help her much. This only pushed her try and better herself more-so in order to be able to provide more for her group.

During this quest of 'self-betterment', Allira came into contact with a childhood mentor. Still a staunch believer of the Light, she quickly befriended him and they shared stories of their past. She was surprised when he was saddened by the tale of 'self-betterment'. This was something that he seemed to know all too well. He noticed this was far too akin to the tails of the Man'ari Eredar. The best he could do, at the time, was provide Allira with sound advice and further training in the Holy Light. Relearning the ways of Light was overall beneficial to Allira, as she now practiced more self-control when seeking to better her abilities as a mage or anything that may give her more power. It's because of this that she often makes allusions to the Light while being a mage. Like many Draenei, the Holy Light became the center of her life once again.

After the arrival on Draenor, Allira went back to helping children as a caretaker in an orphanage. She lived took up residence in Shattrath along with Nexariel, her sister, and Vestalaan. She had reasoned some time ago that her time as a guard was over and instead tried to 'give back' in this sense. Rather than teaching what she knew as a mage, Allira instead tried to only teach the children of the Holy Light. This is mostly because of her not wishing for a child of the orphanage to follow in her quest for power from before. She thought it much better for them to be devout followers and never forget the tenants of the Light, as she thought she had.

At the time of the invasion from the Orcs, Allira, Nexariel, and Vestalaan were just one of the many that fled the city of Shattrath. Along with her, Allira assisted in the evacuation of orphans with much help from others. Allira, Nexariel, and Vestalaan sought refuge in Telredor, along with the many other exiles from Shattrath and many other parts. For many years, they lived there. When the time came to leave the settlement, Allira and Nexariel had to leave Vestalaan with behind in Telredor. With the pain of leaving behind a very dear friend, they both boarded aboard the Tempest Keep's Exodar.

After the Draenei fled from Draenor, Allira was still with her sister and much of the children that had survived aboard the Exodar. While many rushed to battle the Elves aboard the ship, Allira felt it was her place to protect the children aboard. Although never actually coming into contact with an Elf, Allira stood with her sister, and the children, all the way through the flight of the Exodar, and the crash aboard Azeroth. That day, in her eyes, the Draenei had been blessed to not have lost as many as she originally though they had when she woke up in the forests of Azuremyst. Allira spent the next years on Azeroth within the Exodar still preaching to the children about the ways of the Light. Before long, she took her leave to go and explore the world the Draenei would now call 'home'. After some time in the new world, Allira and Nexariel agreed to return to their old home of Draenor. They went in search of Vestalaan and in search of closure on the events of the past.
