Appearance

Alicia is average height for a human woman and is built solidly with easily visible muscles. Her blonde hair is kept in check and always cut so it stays above her collar. She almost always wears a tight fitting Cindercloth or Mageweave Vest as well as boots and pants. She has red runic tattoos across her chest, back and arms.

Personality

Alicia is a very outgoing person and if she learns of a task that needs to be done, she will go to many lengths in order to complete it. A life of being dedicated to always learning more and becoming stronger has given her a powerful to better herself. She is cocky about her skills but not to the point where she calls herself ‘better’ than others because she knows that they would best her in at least one thing. In her hunger for knowledge, she tries to make many friends who can teach her new things and constantly signs on to expeditions and all she asks of the take are any magical tomes or artifacts. She does not get fired up at people sending petty taunts her way, having spent a long time ignoring them and is calm in most situations. If a friend of hers is in danger, she will run headlong in to a battle and try to beat the living daylights out of her enemy. When it comes to meeting new people, she will be friendly with them while internally she will try to judge their character.

History

Alicia grew up living in Stormwind with her twin brother Alexei and her father Joshua; her mother had died giving birth to the twins. From the time she could toddle, she began showing magical affinity and was fascinated by this thing she could do that no one else she knew could. She quickly began studying and reading endless books, trying to better herself in the arcane ways with many a sunny afternoon spent reading in the park under a tree while her brother played swords with the other local boys. Alicia never did have many friends, always being too absorbed in her magic and often intimidated other girls with her gifts, her growing love of fire and the way she could command the violent element being in stark contrast to braiding hair and wearing pink dresses.

Her peaceful and studious lifestyle was snuffed out one day, as quickly as a dying ember when her father fell deathly ill and passed away in bed one evening, leaving the two to fend for themselves in the world. With no house and barely any money, the twins lived on the streets where they would buy food when they got hungry using the small sum of money their father had left to them. Alicia was protected from the barbaric taunts and advances of local scummy teenagers by her brother, who was quite brawny and good with a weapon. She brought the scorn and mockery of other girls her age by being the homeless, freaky bookworm and Alicia vowed to herself never to be like they were.

After a few months, the twins had run out of money and could no longer afford to feed themselves and were set upon a group of other street-urchins, ranging from their own tender age of fourteen up to early twenties. The group had apparently heard of both Alexei’s combat value and Alicia’s affinity for magic and gave them an offer of protection and food if they would help the gang steal from merchants and pick the pockets of tourists. This less-than-upstanding life went uninterrupted for two years until an important person for the twins entered their life when a new boy was brought into the gang and the only thing that stood out about him at first was that he wore a wolf hat made of cloth and carried a finely-crafted broadsword that was too big for him. Alexei soon took this new arrival, who introduced himself as Drayke, under his wing and the two became inseparable which stung Alicia quite hard since her brother, the only person she had left in the world, had found a new best friend and pretty much never talked to her anymore.

She spent the next few years of her teenage years feeling very alone with nothing but her flames to keep her occupied and so she dedicated herself to learning more about it and put all of her waking hours when she wasn’t robbing people to use in mastering everything about magic that she could and felt like something had finally gone right in her life when she botched up a job picking the pocket of a visiting wizard from Dalaran. It seemed like a routine job at the time, just a tourist who was in the city to see the sights and she was meant to sneak up behind him but it went awry when she tried to start a small fire in a cart from across the street to distract the man but she did not judge that he was going to move in front of her shot and she hit the base of his cloack, setting it alight. Instead of disciplining her and turning her in, the mage noticed her potential in the magical arts and decided to stay in the city longer than he had planned in order to teach her how to control her powers and trained her as his prodigy. He introduced himself to her a Jaune Kalis, an inscriber who was proficient in runic designs and how they amplified magic power.

As she grew older, her powers grew and when she turned 18, her new tutor got her a special present if she chose to accept it. He offered to ink her body with infused tattoos that would help her focus her energy into more powerful magic. She happily accepted, not knowing how painful tattoos, albeit magically-infused ones, would hurt. Several painful, tear filled hours later she had runic designs tattoos all over her arms, chest and back. It seems that her tutor was indeed telling the truth in the fact that she felt more powerful whenever she tried to cast a spell and she could tell it was working since whenever she felt the mana coursing through her veins, the tattoos would begin to hum with energy and glow subtly.

She spent her life up until she was a fully grown woman of 24 training with her tutor and taking classes in the Mage Quarter of Stormwind where she had also found a cheap apartment to live in, well and truly out of the gutter life she had been forced to live. Out of all these positives, they all came with the large negative that she had not seen her brother Alexei in several years even though she had heard rumours from a person who was still in her old street gang that he had gotten out and become a Paladin of the Order and Alicia felt happy in the fact that he was safe and well. She is constantly trying to learn more about magic and has recently become interested in the other schools and has a drive to learn about arcane magic as well as master her pyromancy. She now moves from place to place, searching for magic artifacts or forgotten knowledge to enhance her powers, hungering for new knowledge and enraptured by the allure of magic.

Alicia's desire for more magical knowledge led her to start a dungeoneering business with a friend named Ashlee Kordsin. They agreed that any magical items they found that benefitted Alicia, she could keep and anything else would be sold off for the pair to make a profit. Through this, they ventured into dangerous tombs and ruins frequently and when you're stuck in a crypt with someone for long enough, you begin to develop an attachment. Alicia and Ashlee began to see each other romantically and this connection strengthened their tandem fighting. Once when Alicia was on a ship, travelling through a storm she ran aground on in the Borean Tundra in Northrend where she encountered a Blood Elf named Celen in a cave who had her legs crushed by an attacking magnataur. She couldn't bring herself to leave the crippled elf alone and so she spent the next six months stranded in the frozen wastes of the north as she carried Celen to Dalaran where the elf was given surgery to fix her legs. It was found that in this, Celen's spine had been broken near the base and cutting off feeling to her legs. They were informed of a healer out in the Storm Peaks that could be able to restore function to her legs.

Before they set out, they spent a few days recovering from the straining journey to the magical city. As a gift from an old friend of Alicia, they were given a pair of Frostsabers. It was also here that Alicia saw Ashlee for the first time in over half a year of torture and the pair's love was given new life as the mage seemingly returned from the dead. After Celen was ready to travel, Alicia said her goodbyes and promised to be home by Winter's Veil. The mage and the elf set out with new provisions and their Frostsabers to find this shamanistic hermit. After struggles and an encounter with an elemental, they found him and Alicia left Celen in his care after she saw that the elf had regained use of her legs.

Alicia returned home with her Frostsaber, which she named Storm. She has returned to her house with Ashlee and her time in Northrend matured her a lot and she saw that since she was almost twenty-seven, she felt the desire to settle down. With her heart in her hands, she proposed to Ashlee and it was accepted happily. This relaxed, loving lifestyle went by without problem for a few months before the lovers had a particularly nasty fight and both walked away from their marriage in a rage.

The Pyromancer, now with a void in her heart left unfilled, wanders the world in search of her old flame, fun. She spends her time adventuring, exploring and using bad guys as punching bags to vent her burning emotions. The only company she seems to keep for more than a short while is her faithful Frostsaber, Storm.

Skills and Abilities

Skills and Abilities:

 Pyromancer: Alicia has a natural knack for fire-based magic and has mastery far above her age, though her ability in any other type of magic is slim to none whatsoever.

 Athleticism: Having had to keep in physical shape for life on the streets, Alicia is quite light on her feet and is no stranger to jumping over obstacles or getting around silently.

 Trigger Finger: Alicia has a decent amount of skill in how to use a rifle. She only resorts to this when her magic is blocked or otherwise unusable or impractical in a situation.

 Brawler: Alicia is not dependent on using ranged magic for a fighting style and often will fight by setting her limbs and sometimes full body aflame before trying to physically attack her opponents. As such, her skill in hand to hand combat is not something to be underestimated. Her fighting style is reminiscent of a mix between Muay Thai, kickboxing and judo.
